As for medical marijuana romney will never get my vote. Romney thinks morphine is ok but not medical marijuana. My wife needs medical marijuana over morphine. Romney would perfer killing my wife cause that is exactly what morphine would do. On medical marijuana alone(big gov romney) would force my wife to take hard drugs to deal with her pain! Romney has no position on anything other then talking out his ass!

I support ron paul on foreign policy,ending the drug war and balancing the budget. Which romney fails on every issue! Actually I think your reasoning is sound and makes perfect sense. MM is a non issue for me as is nearly all drug related issues. My main issue is the debt. Romney is better than Obama on my main issue. He's nowhere near what I'd want a president to be, but he's better than Obama.

For someone appealing to reason you appear bereft of it yourself. Nobody here to my knowledge worships any man, and certainly not Ron Paul. The bottom line is that Paul is the only candidate currently running who respects the strict construction of the US Constitution. When "the Constitution" is your principle voting issue, then yes, every other candidate appears exactly the same, as every other candidate pays nothing more than lip-service to the Constitution while only Ron Paul means to obey it and has a 30+ year record demonstrating that.

I am neither a libertarian nor a conspiracy theorist. I am a Constitutionalist. I recognize that America is facing a grave existential threat...not from without but from within. That threat is the fact that America id flinging herself apart at the seams wildly oscillating left right left right and unless something changes we face certain devastation in our lifetimes. The only hope to save America now is to restore the Constitutional order. The only candidate currently running who means to restore the Constitutional order is Ron Paul. The logic is simple and straightforward, and it follows directly from the premises.

Most of the Ron Paul movement is based entirely on reason and the Constitution. It's a large minority of the movement based on the concept of liberty as such. I understand your confusion, however, as we have departed so very far from the Constitution that from where we stand today it would appear to be an extraordinarily libertarian document.

As a strict Constitutionalist, I have no more affinity for the right-wing violations of the Constitution any more than I have for the left-wing violations of the Constitution. They are all violations of the Constitution to me, and equally wicked. From that philosophical and political platform, yes, Romney is identical to Obama. You may see a proper choice between blue-black and red-black, but I see only blackness. For me, I will only ever vote for the Constitution, and so far as 2012 is concerned, that leaves only Ron Paul as the candidate for whom I am able to vote.
