Lamborn had been endorsed by Dr. Paul back during the 08 election.

Good to get Mike Pence on board. He is a bigger name Republican, something we need. I think we have now finally beat the Fair Tax bill in cosponsors.

I am a bit confused about Pete Olson on there. I thought it had already listed him awhile back, but now I look at this and it seems he just signed on. However, when I had been at the Clear Lake Tea Party Olson's representative swore up and down that Olson had already cosponsored HR 1207. I even reassured another Paul supporter as much. Am I wrong that Olson had already been on the list?

I think I would call this the Tea Party effect. So we can see a tangible benefit of our tea parties. Now we HAVE to get this thing to pass the House Financial Services Committee.

Has there been any activity with the Senate version?

Oh, and still no Flake, Kucinich, or Frank...

my bastard rep (Reichert) still isn't on there - and he voted against the bailout, won a very tight election last year (i'd argue because he voted against the bailout) and is up against the wall for the next cycle against another well-funded Microsoft foe. i'm gonna piss away a couple bucks and give his office another call. i've already called his office, faxed his office, sent emails, and had several friends do the same.

Q for all here: should i threaten to not campaign for him (i'm an elected "precinct committee officer") in the next cycle if he chooses not to cospsonsor this bill?

Yes. Put it on the line. This bill should be cosponsored by everyone.

hell yes!!

Rep Doggett, Lloyd [TX-25] - 4/21/2009

can you email me some of those??? Looks like I need to go down to Frank Pallone's office again (NJ-6) and give them another dose of Liberty.

I also explained what it was, especially if they seemed interested. I was almost the last person there, and the people who stayed the latest seemed to be the most interested. I asked them to call our congressman and many said they definitely would!.

Does anyone here live in Kucinich's district? I mean, wtf? Why isn't he on board? At first I was thinking he just hadn't gotten around to it yet, but this is getting rediculous. I know he supports this in theory, why isn't he signing on? Do we need to e-mail bomb him?

I honestly can't see any reasonable person not being on board with auditing the Fed. It's just a damn audit! We want to know where our trillions are going, right? What could be wrong with that?

Hardly any use pressuring Nita Lowey, my congresshack. That old establishment Dem as useful as a fart on a spacecraft.

don't give up: if there's one common bond all of Congress shares it's a desire to remain in power. threaten to do all you can to remove this wench if she does not comply with your wishes. don't get me wrong, i understand that it may be impossible to do so, but play to that desire to remain in power she most surely posesses. you may even pledge to help her keep her seat if she complies;)
