Too early to tell. I'm not so arrogant as to assume that I know how to run a campaign. Would I have done things differently? Maybe.

But, then again I haven't been elected to Congress 10 TIMES!

If Ron Paul loses this election, it will be his campaign's fault. The campaign has sat back and not communicated with the grassroots or the media. People complain about a "media blackout", but the campaign I would say is probably 80-90% responsible for this. The grassroots are the ones that have emailed and emailed and EMAILED tv stations and tv shows asking them to get Dr. Paul on, then when they invite him on, the campaign agrees then backs out, i.e. Glenn Beck and now today with Neil Boortz.
I could go on, but I'll stop before I get anymore depressed...HERE's TO SOUTH CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!! RON PAUL!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

While the RP campaign is not even playing the same sport as the machines of the other candidates, if Ron Paul loses this election, it will be the fault of each and every one of US. They are our neighbors that we are unable to convince. Us spending countless hours behind a keyboard instead of being in front of someone who has not yet heard Ron Paul's views explained to them will have cost the election.

I think many of you are being entirely way too critical. You all should be focusing your efforts elsewhere, and stepping up your game. This is OUR campaign remember. We all have an equal stake in this.

I say it's time to really pull out the stops, and go full out for the freedom message. Americans may not be ready for it yet, but it will get people a lot more inspired to vote for Ron Paul than just making him out to be a nicer and more conservative Republican than the other guys.

Instead of "Hope for America", how about changing the theme to "Save America, While You Still Can!"

Although there is always room for improvement, this campaign is doing well considering the odds against it.

One never knows what they may be planning. Perhaps something really big we will be impressed with. I'm sure there is a reason they are saving some of the money we donated to them.

bullseye! i love seeing the passion in the forum....yet everyone needs to be tending to their own state too!!!

i just got back from out meetup...where we started strategizing our caucus....unfortunately we don't have enough meetups to cover 7 islands...so it's gonna be tough!! plus we don't have enough meetups truth be told!!!!

if u r not active in a meetup ...then i challenge u to redirect a portion of your WONDERFUL energy!! ...if there is none near u....then BE A LEADER....& START one!!!

sure ads help...yet face-to-face grassroots is where it COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

look....no one is TELLING anyone what to do here...{{{TG we have freedom of speech...at least today anyway...to an extent at that!!}}}...yet there ARE tons of delegate positions out there for us to grab!! what is YOUR strategy???

sure HQ could have put out much better ads imho...damn ! so many of you guys r so talented!!!! why not put the BEST we've got out here & rate them for SC & FL???

THEN.....

e/m or fax HQ w/your requests to be heard! ya can't complain about them ...if ya haven't made a move to suggest doing it *different* or better!

dang! u infiltrated faux ..AND their advertisers...do u not think the campaign mgr could *not* listen...IF we had an idea?

i'm not saying hound them...yet there has been some incredible stuff here people have created--awesome!...APPROACH them.....what do ya have to lose?? they may say no? ...at least u gave it a shot!!!!!

now for cripe sakes ---get back to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

canvas.......make calls.......get ACTIVE in your local meetup.........& most important:
GET DELEGATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there r 48 MORE STATES to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"just do it!"......:)

I voted 1
Here is why.
  • Commercial production is terrible. His military donations ad was horrible. It implied he was pro-war.

  • No offense to our good man RP, but he needs to be more aggressive. He is too humble and it is costing us the election. He is too afraid to LIST candidate names such as on Leno yesterday he wouldn't name MCCAIN as the person who wants us in the war for another 100 years. How many votes could that have swayed our way? McCain somehow got the anti-war vote today.

  • No creativity at all to raise funds. They don't like our money bombs yet we haven't seen anything come from them on how to raise money.

  • Official campaign shows animosity towards the grassroots like we are ruining it for them. They don't know how to run a non traditional campaign.

For me this is more than just Ron Paul running for president. This is basically the end of our country. The campaign needs to start acting like it. It's not like everything is going to be fine and dandy if we don't win. Our lives will become hell. We will be drafted, taxed to death, tracked and traced. This isn't just another presidential election! We are being surrounding on all sides and rather than bracing for impact, we are dancing around like it's a party. This isn't a game, campaign. Our lives depend on this campaign and I will damned to see us fail because of a lack of motivation or enthusiasm on the campaign's side.

The grassroots is ready to fight, but are you?
