all Ron has to do is take this attack on Mitt for his capitalist behavior & use it to kill them all...

something simple like...

"They don't need to be attacking Mitt Romney for being a capitalist. They need to support capitalism as Republicans.

Instead, they need to be attacking Mitt Romney for his record. The fact that he supported TARP, the fact that he likes to bail out the bankers & insurance companies. But, the problem is, THEY can't attack his record, because they all supported the same things. When the time came for them to choose a side, THEY turned their backs on the American people and chose to side with the establishment.

I'm the only candidate who sided with the people when it really mattered. I voted against the bailouts, I voted against TARP, and I have throughout my career always stood with the people...while THEY have always stood with the establishment.

As President, I will NEVER side with anyone other than the people. I don't care about special interest groups, I don't care about the establishment, and I don't care about parties. I care about the AMERICAN PEOPLE. My promise as President is to ALWAYS put the people first!"

something to that effect would DESTROY all of the other candidates and make Americans realize that Ron Paul is their guy!

Yep, agreed. He is doing this right now more subtly, but he should put out a press release or something about it.

Great ideas. Clear and easy to understand.. non of that liquidate the debt stuff, and business cycle stuff. Most of that goes over my head, and I think im pretty smart...

Or maybe explain how they work in more detail, acknowledging that most people haven't heard these concepts before. I think that would work to his benefit. Politics is so confusing to so many people, I think they appreciate a candidate who actually puts the effort in to help them understand rather than pull the wool over their eyes. Basically what the case against bailouts comes down to to me is that it's government rewarding companies for bad behavior that the market needs to be allowed to punish them for. And thus government is simultaneously punishing good businesses by not allowing them the upward mobility in the market that would be caused by competitors going under, that they earned by not engaging in the same irresponsible practices.

I personally think that anyone who is willing to support RP is automatically not a sheep, and that he shouldn't dumb it down too much. Just be more clear about certain things.

The issue i foresee is the evangelical and elderly vote. Ron has to get his point across as to how he supports Israel, and how it ties in with his christian beliefs.

ron needs to go to South Carolina & whip out some biblical verses on their asses! Speak the way he did in Iowa...let the voters know that Jesus was the peace king & that as christians they should try to emulate Jesus & follow his message. you gotta tug at those religious strings in South Carolina...and Ron knows his biblical history & can truly hit them over the head with some knowledge & put it into context for them

I agree he can make good hay hammering on the bailouts. TARP created the original Tea Party. Bailouts and privilege to a select few while everyone else takes it in the shorts created OWS. And I'd wager a good majority of this country at least sympathizes with one or the other.

I watched the speech last night and I thought it was pretty good but I think he could use more focus. It was a speech that seemed mostly directed at his supporters. Most americans need something easy and difinitive to latch onto. Save thoroughly explaining the underlying issues to his website and focus his abbreviated media spotlight on the high points.
