I don't want a traditional Christmas gift. All gifts can be directed to ronpaul2008.com/donate

If we top 10 million, we could very well gain the title of "#1 GOP Fundraising Candidate this Quarter". Yes, that's right. We could beat Giuliani and Romney in fundraising for an entire quarter.

Let's make it happen!

What are your expectations for December 16th?

I'm think he can get 8-9. For me, anything over 10 will a huge pleasurable shock. Anything under 5 will be a minor disappointment (in context anyway; he's still going to win Q4 fundraising in a runaway)

anything beating november 5th will be excellent.. hell the media wont know how to explain it.. other than MAYBE HE IS POPULAR!

I think in the end, if Ron Paul is not doing very well in the polls, they will credit his fundraising numbers to this new kind of fundraising scheme/"money bomb", instead of the message/Ron Paul himself.

Yeah, agreed. Beating Nov. 11 will be huge. The optimist in me though is hoping everyone who donated on the 5th will match their contribution, and the recent publicity he's gotten as well as the Boston tea party's superiority over Guy fawkes day as a recognizable protest will attract new donors.

The pessimist in me is afraid 12/16 is too close to Christmas, and too many people will be tapped out.

It is hard to say, but I think between 6 and 12.8 million. If we keep on the current track of 1650 people signed up per day at teaparty07.com and we have two times as many people donate as signed up like on Nov 5th and the average of $104 holds up then that is over $12,800,800.00.

These are just the statistical averages. We will see however. I think realistically it will probably be about $8,500,000. This assumes that we will hit 10,000 people signed up in 7 days and that after that we will drop down to an average of 1000 per day just like Nov 5th and twice as many actually donate at an average of $104 a piece.

The only factor is that there were a LOT of naysayers out there and Ron Paul has gotten a TON of publicity from his money bomb. I think a lot more people will actually donate than the 2:1 signup ratio and they will spread it to a lot more people because they now know that it works and everyone wants to see results.

Well RP supporters are the most optimistic bunch ever.. I don't see Nov. 5th getting beat any time soon but perhaps a lot of new supporters have cropped up as a result of the recent press.

Of course I will donate again but *if* most of RP's supporters are young ones how much money can they have???

As long as we beat November 5th I am happy. If we go over 5 million that would be great and I think we can do it. I know I will be donating more than I did on the 5th and I hope that those than can do so as well.

As someone who thought Nov 5th would only raise about 200K, my guess might not mean much this time around either.

Im gonna say between 5-7 million

Ill be happy if we can at least match the 4.2 on the 5th.

got to keep pushing those TeaParty videos, 5 stars and favorite, Leave a Comment and link it from another site.

Guys, it's a mathmatical certainity that we will smash 10m.
Just do your part and make sure you push the site in any way you can.
That's all.
To say we will only raise 5m is not really understanding what has changed after the 5th. Our man is now a media star.
10M will be done in the first 18 hours and then it will be a hunt for the rest. Oh, yeah this quarter our man raises 25m+

Yeah, that's right...**** YOU FRANK and Yeah, **** YOU AS WELL HANNITY..

I'm thinking anywhere from $8-10 million on this one day.

We've already got 6600 pledges, and tons of time to get more. Plus, I think a number of the recruits from November 5th will be hopping on this.

I'm looking for nothing less than $8million. I think we could make this a $18Million quarter.

10 Million would be nice, but we would have to promote the hell out of it. Start promoting as if the event was only a day away. It would be so cool to see 100,000 sign ups for the event.

I think most people here vastly underestimated our haul on November 5th. me included. so keep that in mind this time around. i'm thinking 8-9 million might be conservative.

Some of the media began reporting the nov. 5 money bomb while it was ongoing. That helped a lot in terms of gaining new donors. Would they do it again on dec. 16? It was a big deal last time because nobody had ever done anything like that before on such a large scale. Would it be newsworthy to report it while it was going on?

I dont think this poll is crosses the spectrum enough. I think it will be 12 million.
