May 2nd, 2013 and it's snowing here in Overland Park, KS. Little over 1" on my back porch, and it's freezing to my ham radio antenna. I mowed the grass yesterday when it was 85F. Crazy I tell you.

Global warming is so 1990's. Its called climate change today which covers all bases whether its cold or hot. That way the enviro-statists do not sound ridiculous again.

No matter what your view, I find the whole global warming and cooling to be far less persuasive arguments for promoting green energy and conservation. There are much more compelling debates that show areas with higher Co2 pollution also have higher rates of CVD, asthma, birth defects, and cancer. We do need to do something about it.

This Spring has been quite chilly here in NY, and last year was as hot as blazes.

Will you make a similar post about global warming when the summer heat waves hit?

No, because that is called summer. It has happened for millions of years, with or without AGW.

EVERYONE STOP EXHALING!! UR POLLUTIN TEH PLANET!!!11!! ;)

Global average temperature is also inversely related to the number of pirates, so I think it is safe to say that an increase in CO2 is good for everyone. Even the pirates, if they are lucky enough to witness the loss of competition.

CO2 "pollution"?

There has been a tremendous wealth of information shared here that has introduced aspects of the topic that the political arena just simply isn't interested in discussing. Unfortunately, because there is no dedicated sub forum for the sciences like...oh, lets say bitcoin, it has all been buried and removed from context. Scattered throughout the entire board. Essentially gone. And so the media driven terms of controversy trump and the base ensures that it stays that way by conforming to the model. The CO2 left/right political paradigm regarding a very minimal aspect of it all is what is constantly regurgitated and so the political narrative trumps. Is an unfortunate shortcoming for the liberty community in whole and in my opinion.
