Well, in my small town, I feel nothing one way or the other. There was no signs except for one, ironically was for Ron Paul, but it was posted in front of a tattoo shop, so I doubt that it has any merit other than for that ONE supporter that I'm aware of. I doubt half these people realize what's going on for the 22nd from where I'm at. I have a feeling we will do really really good on Tuesday and more importantly I think we will have a lot better turn out for the primary to make sure no one gets 50% in order to get our delegates. Besides, the location for several parishes winds up being rather far from where I live, people really aren't willing to deal with Lafayette traffic to deal with that, atleast not just your turn of the mill regular Joes. We have a lot of people signed up and ready to go get voted in and I haven't had any word of anyone other candidate paying this state any attention what so ever. Here are some encouraging quotes from an email I received from the Louisiana based campaign HQ's:
"January 17, 2008
Victory is near! We are six short days away from the caucuses here in Louisiana and things are looking very good for us. The Ron Paul campaign was the only campaign to submit a full slate of delegates for the entire state, thanks to all of your hard work. In fact, even though there are six candidates competing for delegates, Ron Paul has one third of all delegates running in Louisiana!
I want to thank all of you for working so hard to get us to where we are now. I also want to ask you to help see us through and ensure a victory at the caucuses for Ron Paul."
