How are the petitions going?

I'm a delegate for district 2 and I've been told that registered Republicans and Independents can sign the petition but NOT registered Democrats. This comes from the Ohio state coordinator. Good Luck!

Thanks. I emailed the guy in charge of the petitions to ask about that yesterday and he also confirmed that only Republicans and Independents can sign.

We collected signatures outside our local Post office for about an hour tonight. About 75% of the people we asked were either not registered, not county residents, or in too big a hurry. We also had a fair number of eligible signers who wouldn't sign because they hadn't heard of him (a few of them took slim jims). And about three people who HAD heard of him and didn't like him. But there were five or six people who knew who Ron Paul was and liked him -- one lady had seen him on The View and took a slim jim and said she'd check out his website; several others knew who he was and were vocally supportive of our efforts.

Don't think just DO!! I wish we had time for speculation and thought but we don't have that kind of time. Primaries are going to be here before you know it. Just join now and think about it later.

yeah, I read the e-mail today, so I'll be printing out stuff, and informing a few buddies and people I know about this. Ohio has to be able to vote for Ron Paul.
