HOLY S--- Obama to Head UN Security Council

Ordinarily, this job would go to the US Ambassador to the UN, but Obama's ego apparently knows no bounds thus he will take it on personally. As if we don't have enough going on at home to keep him busy.

I'm not sure but my husband thinks his insistence on micro-managing everything will be his downfall. The job is too big for that

He's not African but Africa does have an elected member (not perminant) on the Security Council. Presently that position is held by Burkina Faso- next year it will be Uganda. the United States heads the Security Council for September and probably China next month (unless it is Burkini Faso- it goes alphabetically). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council

Wasn't the UN Security Council the body that authorized the Iraq invasion? Aren't they the ones that pass all the sanctions against nations that result in starvation of the people of those countries?

Remember Colin Powell trying to convince the UN that Saddam had WMDs! The UN did not want us in Iraq, but Bush would have liked their blessing.

Maybe he should just stick to what the people voted him to do, there's plenty for him to pay attention to in this country... not his own crusade for MSM PR pump monkeys to push his future agendas. There's has to be one individual qualified out of the millions of Federal Employees to fill-in for a month.
