Well, the fact that a socialist like Sanders is attracting thousands to his appearances reminds me of that Daffy Duck line from the cartoons, "If they like that mess, they must be starving for some real hoofing." In this case, the "hoofing" means a solid Democratic candidate alternative to Hillary.
