Well, it's something! He should definitely promote it as his own convention (as the article does). Looks like we can now rule out the announcement of an independent run before that date.

yes it is a bit far. Maybe we can setup an effort to sell the manifestos effort that the proceeds can go to fund delegate transportation. What type of time do we have to do something like that though.....
It would be great to be able to secure XXX amount of delegates on our side to be there FOR SURE.
Maybe we can door to door sell the manifesto and proceeds can go to getting people to the convention, or hell people can do that on their own to get their own butt to the convention as well.
I really think the revolution a manifesto should be sold EVERYWHERE because it is a damn great book that educates people AND people can use the proceeds to then fund possible trips to the march, the convention that dr. paul is planning and or the convention whether as a delegate or as an "outside supporter" (-;
Let's get as many delegates to the convention as possible SO what would be the best method to get that accomplished..

I don't think many RP supporters are having / about to have kids.. -Since I'm guessing most RP supporters know how fucked the world they live in is looking right about now.

I would love an independent announcement, but would you happen to know if he did indeed do this on Sept. 2nd, would there be time to get him on the ballot in all states?

He would need to pull Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin into the cabinet, and get the LP AND CP to agree to place RPs name on their ballots lines...

This is EXACTLY why I love this revolution sooooo much!!!
The best thing about this entire process has always been the absolute ignorance of the majority of the country to "the issues" because it has left so many people apathetic that we can get on with things that the "Average Joe" would simply not be the least bit interested in...
Those "Average Joes" are the ones voting for the likes of Crack Cocaine!
I know that there is a lot of back-stabbing and double-dealing going on, not least at the state conventions, but I thin that we have sometimes overlooked how "easy" this ride has been for us.
Ignored by the media - Had that not happened, do we REALLY think that the "blue plasters identifying RP delegates" wouldn't have been front page news the day before we tried it?
Ignored by most of the other candidates supporters - A few trolls here and there does not an opposition make.
Ignored by the GOP - AND THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT! Do we honestly think that a GOP on full alert would have let us get even so much as CLOSE to pulling off a stunt like this?!
