As mentioned in another thread, the media and others watch the Ron Paul Forums and read our comments. This isn't news to most of us.

Please feel free to include your respectful, constructive feedback to them here. Who knows if anything will come of it, but know that it will be read. :)

These are too many rules Bruno. You claim the media can read , then I have to be respectful? Well , if they can really read , I challenge them to read Article One , Section Eight of the Constitution.

well, um, + rep then, I can't argue much with that! :D

I know the respect is largely undeserved, considering the past history of disparaging treatment towards Ron Paul and overt omissions of even mentioning him by some news organizations, individual writers and commentators. But respectful feedback is better received.

Dear Media,

I would like to know what happened to honest reporting. Just as music videos have left the screens of MTV, journalism has left the screens of CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. We no longer have journalists reporting facts, we are left only with pundits offering opinions. We have these hour long personality contests competing with each other to be the one who is "right" rather than competing to be the one who is most accurate. Even "CNN Headline News" has stopped reporting events, and has become nothing more than E! Entertainment.

Will we ever see a return to honest reporting? Where the questions "Who? What? When? Where?" are answered honestly without the addition of the tv personality's bias and opinion? We're not asking for gushing praise of Ron Paul, just a simple statement of fact. Ron Paul DID win 2nd in Ames by 152 votes. Ron Paul DOES compete with Obama in a general election. Ron Paul DOES place 3rd among likely Republican voters. It is NOT a 2 man race, and there WERE more people on the debate stage than Rick Perry and Mitt Romney.

Will you ever again give people the truth, or only the truth as you see it?

Thank you,
V3n

How's this....

Dear Media:
We're on to you.
We know that you are painfully aware of how much money you're losing recently.
We know that you blame the internet for it. You're right to do so. It's better than you in every conceivable way.
We also know that you are currently engaged in the typical large business response to honest competition: engage the state, and get it to shut down the competition.
We know you realize that Ron Paul will do absolutely nothing to assist you in this effort.
It therefore doesn't surprise us at all that you are trying to sink his campaign.

The problem is that the genie is out of the bottle now. There's no stuffing it back in and stopping what's happening.
You're all going to be gone soon. The only question is when.
Sinking his campaign will only buy you a couple years.
It's just not worth the effort.

Change your tactics and learn to compete honestly. It's the only hope you have for lasting prosperity. Your current plan of action is a dead end.

Does the media have any predictions for Greek default , death of the Euro and what the Dow will be at 9/12 ?

Think advertisers as applying pressure also.

That's usually Congress that does this, not the prez.

It therefore doesn't surprise us at all that you are trying to sink his campaign.

Ponder an incestuous and small gene pool of media ownership.

The mainstream media is nothing but a bought propaganda machine that doesn't give two shits about us or our message. Sure there might be some honest reporter lurking around here trying to find an interesting snippet to turn into or add to a story he is trying to get published but you can be damn sure that unless his editor, who has the final say about the narrative of the story, and we all know all to well what that means, approves it will never be run.

So quit your pointless hopes of reasonable coverage and start diverting your primary focus on how to develop our own propaganda and spread it without the MSM because that's the only way we will ever see a real change.

Dear Media,

Welcome to the Ron Paul Revolution. Join us! You know deep down you really want to, you know we're right.

Embrace truth, embrace the light. It's transformative, in the best way.

Freedom.

may the media burn in hell forever and may they be judged harshly with their lies!! i got nothing good to say about those liars anymore!

May the internet live forever for those who still wish to seek the truth and report it.

The media has become what Neal Postman feared and prophisied it would become 25 years ago. They wish to entertain rather than inform. They could all use a good reading of his work again and again. They have sold their soul for ratings and a profit.

They no longer seek truth in it's own right, but take what our elites say as truth....as Gerald Massey once said.

If and when this country falls, they hold a great portion of the blame, since the founders laid at their feet the responsibility of keeping and informed public aware of the threat to liberty.

They must find it difficult .... those who have taken authority as the truth, rather than truth as the authority - Gerald Massey

Anyone else have a message they'd like to tell the media?

Hey Media!

Explain why there was no "Great Media Purge" of the late 1970's and early 1980's after William Colby, CIA Director, testified under oath before the U.S. Senate's Church Committee that U.S. news media organizations were filled with CIA operatives, a.k.a "Operation Mockingbird."

Then explain why free thinking people should give the U.S. media one iota of credence?

Dear Media,

Okay, so today you are employed, and you think as long as you stick to the script, you won't become one of the statistics you report.

But what makes you think you won't ever see the bottom of the bus ?

You attend the correspondence dinners, and you think your membership in the "Club" is a life time membership, And the news you report doesn't apply to you, and never will.

BREAKING NEWS ............ Your usefulness is waning ...............

Dear Media,

It's ok to be scared. Real change is coming. It's scary because you don't understand it. Because all the people you looked up to in your economics classes, your journalism classes, your mentors, and your bosses, have all said that it would never happen. It's scary because the change cannot be easily categorized, symbolized, by-lined, and simplified.

It's ok to be scared. But your fears are unwarranted. When real leadership is restored, then you'll really get to cover the big stories. Your viewership will come back. Ron Paul will mean ratings. People will watch your shows again, because they know someone who really cares is doing things that they really care about. Real leadership is coming.

You're scared because the power structures which you are deeply nested in are about to collapse. You think that this is unimaginable. But they have already been neutered, they just don't know it yet.

Get ahead of the curve now. Report on liberty. Go back to reporting on stories that your instincts tell you are important, not your editors and their morning emails. Go back to telling the real stories instead of the comfortable ones. Look up to the reporters of the past, who got the truth to people no matter the consequences, then reported on the consequences.

Be the journalists you were meant to be.

Cover us. Cover us truthfully. Cover us fairly. Illuminate hypocrisy. Tell the truth. Favor no one but the facts. Do your job and redefine New Media by salvaging the Old.

Take your place in history.

This is sooo true!!! There is hardly ANY investigative reporting, just blabbing opinions. There is so much horror as well as corruption going on in the middle east, we have just about started WW3 and hardly a gasp on the news.
