Hey BetterCallSaul, What Are You Going to do About Pinkman?

Please tell me you watch Boardwalk Empire.

I do. I'm about halfway through the first season. I didn't include it in my list because I'm not "current" on it.

And actually, I suppose I don't technically "watch TV" at all anyway - I watch all my shows via "unofficial" Internet back-channels ... ;)

You'll love it. Practically every gov't official is corrupt.

Hey Specs are good! I was sad when Gale was killed. He was such a gentle person he had no real clue what he was into. It was like killing a puppy. It just goes to show that the NAP doesn't really work all that well, especially as a defense.

I'm not excusing the murder. I just seem to recall that Jesse wouldn't even have been in that position if Walk would have just left him alone. And if Jesse had not done it, the series would have pretty much ended right then.

Except it was jesse that came back to walt asking him to cook again. Yes, walt blackmailed him for the first cook; but after jesse got the results of that cook, he went back to walt and asked him to cook again.

And hank died as a direct result of jesse putting him in that position.

I'm just saying jesse is not an innocent angel that should be cheered for getting away. If he had taken walts advice he would have been free, had money, living in a new place and that kids mom wouldn't have gotten killed.

I thought he went to die in the lab to give the impression that he had been doing the cooking - possibly to absolve Jesse, but probably to preserve his own legacy.

Yeah, he definitely wanted the streets to know he was the one who made the blue meth. And he wanted to die surrounded by the thing he had built, rather than all the things he had destroyed.

The distinction I'm making in defense of Jesse is that he would not have done those things had he known the outcome, Walt would have (with the exception of Hank.)

Yeah. Tried to watch it and just never got into it.

Tried to watch Sons of Anarchy and couldn't get into that either, but I just tried a couple episodes from the last several months.

I watched the first two seasons of Boardwalk Empire, then got bored. I watched two episodes of Sons of Anarchy and never bothered watching more. I can't stand Katey Sagal.

I guess I just always identified with Walt more than Jesse, and just saw Jesse as some ungrateful loser that walt gave all the tools to succeed but he kept screwing up. --been there, done that.

To the Boardwalk Empire haters: you're all worthless and weak. I piss in your mothers' milk.

Yeah I agree. Skyler and Marie were unbelievably annoying. Did you notice that Marie always wears purple?

Yeah, most of the main characters wore colors that were supposed to match their personality.

I'm not saying that I identify with Jesse, just felt bad for him because despite being a loser (and a murderer), he did have a conscience that extended far beyond Walt's.

Plus, "MAGNETS BITCHES!"
