Hey BetterCallSaul, What Are You Going to do About Pinkman?

Yea, terrible shots, and terribly unrealistic. I did a double face palm by the end.

I also rolled eyes at the guy drawing a bead on Hank before firing a burst and then missing badly. Then I wondered how often would gangsters like that actually sight in their rifles for range? They spray and pray.

Yeah. I thought Walt had totally lost it but then a couple hours later I realized he was intentionally ranting for the audience of cops, in order to get Skylar off the hook as much as possible. But he had to be a tad pissed that she came at him with a knife.

It was the first time Junior was involved.

I mean the demented phone rant - he essentially "confessed" to killing Hank (among other things).

To protect Skyler. That's what the whole brutish rant on the phone was all about: to make the cops think it was all him and that Skyler didn't have anything to do with his crimes - and to get them to believe that she was too afraid of Walt to rat him out (until he "lost it" and took off in a rage with the baby).

Walter "Heisenberg" White is an extremely smart man. I suspect that was his intention all along (i.e., that's why he grabbed the baby in the first place). It wouldn't be the first time he's acted by thinking "more than one step ahead" under pressure. He knew what he was going to do when he took Holly out of her playpen ...

But if he wanted to take the heat off Skylar and himself, why not just tell the truth about Hank? (Without giving any specific details.)

Perfect! I could not figure out why he looked familiarish!

everyone around Walt will end up dying as a result of his actions and he will be left with 10 million dollars and terminal lung cancer.

He's not trying to take the heat off himself. Just the opposite. He's trying to put it all on himself (with none on Skyler). He knows the gig is up ...

I'll bet something happens that liberates Walt at some point. Like maybe getting immunity for testifying against someone else who becomes an even bigger fish.

We can see the full circle clue coming up. Walt going after Gretchen and hubby for disowning his influence in the success of Gray Matter? The cancer did get Walt to start in the cooking business because he wouldn't accept their "charity", even though they could have paid for all of his treatment. His part in actually starting Gray Matter has never really been covered much. I bet they pushed him out and then capitalized on something much more than just the name.

Yeah it was only 26K in prizes, but I wonder had he won that would he even be in BB today; would BB be what it is?

Ha, true. But his depression might have instead been rage. He might have left acting and become a liberty activist.

You know what really tripped me out is I used to love Malcom in the Middle, and just discovered this morning that Walt = Hal....

Anybody ever see the Burning Man episode of Malcom in the Middle? That is some really funny stuff...

Brian Cranston mostly did comedy before Breaking Bad. He did a couple characters on Seinfeld.
