Here's what's coming...

The whole expression, first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fit you, then you win" kind of reset itself in 2012.

The good thing is, this time around, RP is not only being blatantly ignored, they are also fighting him! Listen to Limbaugh, he slammed Paul with an ad hominem attack instead of attacking his philosophy.

So this is what is next. RP 2012 is quite a bit bigger than 08, so ignoring will NOT work this time around, and you can expect lots of attacks coming in the near future. My guess is they will attack him in these ways:

-His age. He's too old! He will surely die in office.
-Unelectable (round 2).
-He's a kooky old uncle, ignore him.
-He "blames America" for 9/11 (or Iran, or any other startling truth)
-He's nuts
-He's purely an internet sensation and won't make a difference
-He would let corporations run rampant

then later it will get more vicious:

-He hates the poor
-He's simply a racist
-He wants our elderly to die in the streets!

Just expect all of this to come and more. Everything will be ad hominem and nobody will critique his philosophy. They will ignore and attempt to destroy in any way possible even if he is just a remote threat to the establishment.

I posted this because in the coming months some will waste a lot of time bitching on here about the attacks, but if we know they are coming we can instead react appropriately, or, complain effectively.

How the hell can the official campaign team, the SuperPac and the grassroots work to the max capability, when the first two are not even allowed any communication?
