Here we go, AMMO for the RON PAUL SMEAR

Bad Press is Good Press sometimes. 8)

If this was ever true, it will probably be true now.

Certainly Ron Paul will win over alot of secular people with this comment. The question is, will this comment completely turn off religious conservatives. Certainly, it seems at least a few of our own supporters are disturbed by this comment.

But I agree, the comment is fundamentally truth. Blindly following someone just because of their religious beliefs is a recipe for disaster.

Fascism has been in the US for quite a long time.

Many of you probably don't even realise that you've got fascist symbols in your own Congress.

Look Familiar..

Doesn't phase me. Mike Huckabee has unwittingly created a weapon of self implosion with his pick of Richard Haas as his foreign policy advisor. This man is a globalist that wants to create something far worse than ol fashioned fascism.

Get these quotes into the hands of every evangelical Christian. They understand better than anyone the dangers of one worlf government.

To understand what sort of advice Mike Huckabee is receiving from Richard Haas, one needs only to read his published papers. One such article is entitled “Rethinking Sovereignty.” Here are some excerpts.

“Our notion of sovereignty must therefore be conditional, even contractual, rather than absolute.“

“For 350 years, sovereignty – the notion that states are the central actors on the world stage and that governments are essentially free to do what they want within their own territory but not within the territory of other states – has provided the organizing principle of international relations. The time has come to rethink this notion. “

“Moreover, states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function. “

“Globalization thus implies that sovereignty is not only becoming weaker in reality, but that it needs to become weaker. States would be wise to weaken sovereignty in order to protect themselves, because they cannot insulate themselves from what goes on elsewhere. “

Please spread those quotes far and wide!

George Bush brought the fascisim we are all reeling in wrapped in a Christian flag. I am so proud of Paul for saying it!!!

What does the news talk about every every single day.... It's words exchanged between candidates, I think he took the opportunity to get alot more airtime.

Ron Paul commented on Huckabee's Christmas ad by quoting Lewis, "fascism wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross" - We've all heard this by now...

Dr. Paul is going to get absolutely blasted about this one and will have to issue an apology by the end of the day.
Bull, he has nothing to apologize for. Lewis was right and Ron was right in quoting him. Do you think facist regimes came to power presenting themselves as the monsters they are? No, they come to power proclaiming their righteousness and presenting themselves as paragons of the values we hold dear. They portray themselves as the good guys and the righteous guys - just like Huckabee does.

An apology!? Are you kidding me? You NEVER apologize for the truth! I will be VERY disappointed if Paul even sort of apologizes for that truth filled comment.

I hope he DOES get asked about it alot and explains it this way:

Giuliani: wrapped in a flag
Huck: carrying a cross

A few weeks ago, when I didn't know as much about Huckabee as I know now, I might have thought the comment a bit harsh. But after learning about Huckabee's comments on AIDS, Mormonism, and his theology degree, I don't feel sorry for Huckabee. And since I agree with the quote, and am indeed a bit disturbed by the fact that someone like Huckabee might win just because he preaches about his god, I hope this will just bring Paul more into the spotlight.

I was proud of him, to tell you the truth

And I am still smiling about it, all these hours later. :D

GO, RON, GO!

I'm kinda torn on this. I agree with his statement but I wonder how the average voter will take it.

Btw, was that guy interviewing Ron Paul unbelievably condescending right from the start or was it just my perception?

he was, of course I'm not sure why ron paul said he was in iowa even after the guy said he was but that still doesn't mean you have to be like he was being. It was just a small undertone of this but it was still there none the less.

Yea. Very much condescending.

My gf took it a step further and called the host downright creepy.

THIS IS GOOD

Ron Paul knows he must attract attention now
Hence he takes the gloves off

His strategy is to create controversy
Attract attention to himself
