Help win Iowa

Here is the scoop:

Fourty-Eight runs in Dubuque area which has approx. 26500 cable subscribers. Typically one subscriber means 2-4 people.

The ads:

Ad #2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPOveu2vPSU

Ad #2 will run on ESPN 12 times between 5-7 p.m. on various nights between now and December 26th.

Ad #1 will run on Spike, MTV, and VH-1 12 times between 5-7p.m. on various nights between now and December 26th.

Total cost will be $1,173.00.

Many college students will be home on Christmas vacation and will see these ads. At the end of the ad will be shown when Ron Paul will be in town:

December 27th 6:00 P.M.
Grand River Center

Also, this will reach many of the disenchanted Republicans who watch sports. This will bring approx. 1,300-4,000 to the rally and at the rally we will have tables set up to give them information on how they can vote for Ron Paul at the caucus.

We only need 18,000 votes in all of Iowa to win. This and Davenport area should push us over the top.

Hold on a second, is the music in the first one the intellectual property of the creator of the ad? Otherwise you'd need a license from the musician to air it.

That first one would only be airing on MTV, VH-1, and Spike. If they are watching those 3 channels I doubt they would be turned off. However, we are working on the CCR licensing but it takes time. We will substitute what we have to until we can get the licensing for it.

I spoke with the representative for CCR who deals with their licensing. Apparently they will not allow it for whatever reason. However, we can use something else for background music.
