I think it is important that only Christians attend this event, it is a Christian event to talk about questions of morality. If you want to support Dr. Paul in this, but feel like you are too socially liberal, or are not a Christian I suggest you focus on the fundraising efforts.
It is easy for people to discount us (AS THEY SHOULD) when we show up looking like unprofessional vagabonds. Please, Please, PLEASE dress nicely, respect other people and candidates, but win. If you aren't wearing a tie, you aren't trying to help Dr. Paul.
Does anyone know, are there any residency restrictions on voting in the straw poll (like @ Ames), and what day/time is the actual straw poll voting?
No. This is a nationwide convention, more like CPAC than Ames. You have to buy a ticket to go. I wouldn't be surprised if the campaign will sell them at a discount. But that's not something I would count on without hearing from them for sure.
Yeah I think we need a rpf section for this
Agreed. Ames and Presidency 5 have their own. How do we escalate this?
I'm hoping they will as well; I'm from Delaware, and I don't really have much money for this event, but I really want to go and will try to save up something.I'm hoping the campaign will provide some discounted tickets, I'll be on vacation in DC at that time.
