Help Mail 40,000+ Rand Paul Super Brochures and Stickers

OK, so are you going to be mailing directly to about 40,000 individuals who have previously supported a Paul for President?

This is correct. These people have spent time and money helping spread the Liberty message. They have to be mailed something.

We only have 10 months to make sure Rand wins. These need to go out ASAP.

Eh it might not be a bad idea. Not all Ron Paul supporters are involved in supporting Rand (yet).

Absolutely, I did not understand that this was the plan for this shipment. 40,000 bumper stickers to Paul supporters sounds good.

Activists - please push these at gun show events. Where else will you find more gun-toting republicans in one single place than this - it beats door to door sore feet!

I'm going to try real hard not to get super annoyed about the Super Brochures showing up again. The way campaigns are won are by phone banking in combination with canvassing in-person. You find out the key issues and likelihood of a prospect voting for your candidate and then you return with targeted information. OLD VIDEO on SAME OLD SUBJECT.

Politico, MSNBC, New York Times, and 100+ newspaper prove Super Brochures work.

And then there is this chart:

Pretty simple, the Super Brochure have had a huge impact!

How is that graph related to brochures? The campaign was doing about a bajillion times more things in December 2011.

First spike is the mailing of 300,000+ Super Brochures to Republicans.

Second spike is the mailing of 300,000+ Super Brochures to Independents.

Over 1 million Super Brochures went into Iowa in one month. Watch the MSNBC video and they explain the jump.

Although I plan only to donate to the official campaign, I did put these out for Ron in 2012 after I signed up to hand them out on the Dailypaul. I liked them, especially the line about how Ron had much more donations for active duty military. I would agree that these could be great in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and other early/caucus states so I see no harm in using them. One thing to mention is that if you add these to your "gear" that you will be putting out in an election cycle it adds up in my opinion. I will be doing hand made signs throughout towns in my area, possible literature, bumper sticker pass outs, and hopefully door knocking. This can be an aid to your gear you have.

The first mailing is going to past customers of RonPaulProducts.com and Super Brochure. The list is huge and we just can't mail it ourselves. Imagine if 40,000+ 2008/2012 Ron Paul supporters get a Super Brochure and bumper sticker in the mail in the next 3-4 weeks. Then Rand announces in early April. It will be huge!

Candidates dream of this. No one will have this but Rand. We have to push people into action earlier this time. We can't wait until November/December to motivate people.

That's an excellent idea.

But sending brochures to non-Paulites is much more risky - better left to the campaign IMO.

Curt provided tons of super bros and stickers and even yard signs if I'm not mistaken during the NH primary when the campaign office was without supplies

This is one of my "please dont take this the wrong way. My intentions are pure and not to insult, hurt or be negative." I am just trying to clarify situation and prevent any miss-steps.

I remember "Super Brochures" and I remember infighting about them.
They fixed the super brochure and removed the video linked to Zeitgiest. Printed up millions more of them. Now they tell people to watch a video uploaded by godisafrauddotcom called How Money Is Created.
Yet another oversight or sabotaged?

Is ticker fake? Names of recent donors dont change(same ones are repeated). Only first letters of peoples last names are shown: grosrbsfsnsfpfrs. Strange sample.

You wrote:
It will only cost $1.29 per address.

Could you elaborate on that? Is it too much to ask explanation on how did you get to that number? How much of it is mailing costs; how much is design cost; printing cost... and other costs?

Why are online samples watermarked with "ForeverFree.com"?
If the goal is to spread the message wouldnt it be good thing if people could download and print them self, or send them via e-mail, Facebook etc. Beside, you have all your info on back and front of it anyway...

These are good and valid questions. We watermark the Super Brochures because a group used a Super Brochure with a promise to mail a DVD. They raised over $100,000 and didn't do either. They "bait and switched". At least one person on this thread who is attacking the Super Brochure was paid thousands of dollars by these liars. To this day this makes me sick. Super Brochure was tarnished even though we had nothing to do with it. You can not print them cheaper than you buy them from us. So there is no reason to need to print them. We want only the best out there. If you go to Staples or Office Depot, it would cost $2 to print our brochure. It is double sided and high quality paper.

90% of businesses fail because people have no idea how much overhead is involved. We state upfront what the price is. People come to Super Brochure because they know we do exactly what we say. We have a very high quality product at an unbelievable price. The $1.29 price might be to low. We are going to work 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm to make sure that this price stays. Where else can you get such a value?

Notice the people in the video. They don't work for free.

I think they give away too much about a candidate's positions. Some might've supported Ron in a few issues but were turned away from others. Targeted mail is the best.

Can the super brochure makers tell us what their profit margin is per piece?

Curt, thank you for your efforts in supporting liberty.

A note to the causal reader, this thread is a good example of the crucible effect where ideas and projects are hashed out in detail, the good and the bad. The site supports friendly debate and understands that not everyone will be supportive of any one project but in the end we should end up with a stronger movement as we all adapt to logically sound positions. Each individual will ultimately decide what efforts to support. In all cases, the buyer must beware (caveat emptor) and should look to established track records. Site policies restrict certain fundraising efforts that may be completely fraudulent in nature, which is clearly not the case here.

Also of note, a topic starter can declare debates to be off-topic for their thread, debates can take place in an alternate thread, the debate thread should be linked to by the original thread (the one that does not allow debates).

See my signature for links to the site guidelines.

Thanks!

It sounds like a great idea to send them to Ron Paul supporters.

Have there been any studies on the effectiveness of the brochures from 2012?

The Ron Paul Super Brochures simply had a tsunami's worth of information. WAY too much for a flyer and definitely had the potential to turn people off. If this must be done again, targeting of voters MUST happen. Ron Paul supporters really seem like the only logical audience for these at the moment.

These so-called Super Brochures are a huge waste of money and time. Campaign spend hundreds of thousands of dollars poll testing messages to find what works the best and won't turn off supporters.

The idea that you would send these to people who are likely to support Rand Paul is another HUGE mistake. Ron Paul supporters are either going to vote for Rand or not vote. There is absolutely NO reason to spend a dime on these folks.

The people that need to be targeted are those who are undecided and can be persuaded. Do you know who cn determine who those people are? The campaign with thousands of volunteers calling and identifying these people.

For Rand's sake, do not waste your money, time, and energy to push this ill-advised idea. It is much better to work directly with the campaign.

Seems to me like it's $0.39 and ask for donations or $1.39 and ask for investors.

It's a big project that requires a lot of work, and in the market that deserves profit, but it's not difficult to find that effort freely given in our situation. And it's not really a two person job - I could do it in 2 days if I happened to be prepared/skilled in all the necessary areas:
- graphics layout
- expert content choice
- have the capital to get them printed

The list of emails/addresses is a commodity not to be overlooked.

In a free market I suspect the bidding would bring the price down to $0.01 profit per flyer, to a an organization that had Doug Wead advising on the content and a volunteer designer (4-8 hours). This organization would likely have phone numbers too, I bet it would be economical to purchase a robocalling system to allow people to 'press 1 if your address has not changed and you want a free rand paul bumper sticker.'

ETA:
I forgot custom database > label workflow creation and stuffing envelopes. Make it $0.02/flyer - $8,000 profit
