HELP DISSECT - Updated numbers from Maine GOP has Ron Paul FURTHER behind by a little

start cross-examining new vs. old. hopefully someone downloaded the old?

All known errors would have been changed in Ron's favor. Let's see where they 'found' the other Romney votes....

and this is why they waited until they were leaving for the day/holiday weekend to post it.

cynically, since they have given us no reason behind their raising Romney's numbers, I am just assuming they think it is the amount they can get away with to give Romney a buffer going into this weekend's caucuses.

And if they don't want people drawing those conclusions they shouldn't 'throw away the ballots' misreport the votes, then refuse to correct the numbers even when they are known to be wrong, until there is national public outcry.

observations:

new portland, which was ronpaul 2, all other's 0, is still not being reported.
kennebec (china):
gop: paul 11, romney 6, santorum 1 (18 total)
wtv: paul 13, romney 3, santorum 1, newt 1 (18 total)

so these are still obviously wrong.

also, just realized all of these "0" across the board could've been used to plug in romney votes. so keep an eye out for that. get to work!

change thread title to priority

It looks like Webster remembered that Romney got 40 extra votes in question-mark county that caucused at question-mark time.

Service unavailable, can't download it...sounds like there are still problems though. Compare everything we have...tear this apart, but remember WTV has not been overly accurate in the past. Stick to the things that Swann and precincts reported for now, then try to find where Romney mysteriously gained votes...

Just noticed their total only adds up to 99.78%...seems odd. Looks like they still haven't figured Excel out...

Saw an article earlier where the GOP state leader up there said Portland was 15 votes ahead for Mitt but due to a clerical error on their part they reported a 15 vote lead for RP. That would be a swing of 30 votes.

They just keep trying to go further with these shenanigans...

It's like "FINE, we will give Ron those causes... But we will just give Romney some extra votes elsewhere. "

I think the campaign may have forseen this.

I would bet you that even if RP turns out a 1000 voters in Washington county, Webster would "find" 800 missing Romney votes to counteract it.

The accuracy of the numbers is getting worse not better as time goes on.

Probably the only thing left to do is not stop asking for his resignation and boycott Maine (vacations, spending of any kind there.) Sadly it's the only way to show that cheating has consequences.

Hancock Ellsworth 23 14 17 2 total: 56

Didn't they report last night that Ellsworth had 87 votes? Where is the other 31?

did ben swann release his totals? also, could someone upload the old pdf?

If we end up controlling the delegates, there may be quite a bit we can do, down line. It won't change these results, of course.

from ben's reported numbers alone:

old total:
1,996
+74 Waldo
+16 Waterville
- 30 Portland
2056

maine gop updated total: 2030

fail.

Also, look to see how many votes changed with the other candidates. It may be likely that they use Newt/Santorum as "buffers" in order to suppress votes. That's probably the real reason why they're staying in the race, so they can pad Romney's numbers by diluting them from Paul and redistributing to everyone.

20 Ron Paul votes disappeared for Limington, York County while they found votes for Acton York with Romney getting 12 to Ron's 4.

In Portland, Cumberland County it was Mitt 91 Ron 106 and now it is Mitt 106 Ron 91.

Vinalhaven, Knox went from 4 Paul votes to 2 Paul votes.

Other changes were from Municipalities that went from no votes to something. All the above appear to be instances where the reported number of votes actually changed.
