Help Cure Cancer for Ron Paul

Taking advantage of both cores is a bit tricky. I've just been reading up on it some. It appears the software wasn't originally designed for this, so getting it to work has been a bit more challenging than it should have been. They do have instructions on how to install a version to take advantage of multiple processors here:

While it shouldn't be that difficult it's not nearly as easy as a regular install. You would need to download the "Windows 2000/XP/Vista SMP client console version 5.91 beta" as well as have .NET 2.0 or higher installed. If you feel pretty comfortable you could give it a stab, if not you could always just install the regular client that'd only use one core and still help the team/project out a lot. Hmmm, all of you people saying there are existing cures for cancer...
Have you ever had a loved one with cancer who overcame it entirely because of said alternative cure? Just curious.

I personally was cured, using a combination of traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture and herbs) along with dietary and lifestyle changes. My remission has lasted 33 years so far. Beware, raw diets will exacerbate certain cancers.

Eh I found that allready and tried to install it but the installer has some sort of bug, and I then had some problems deleting it.. Heh I'm going to just stick with the normal one heh..
As for the dual core its a 6600 so nope not amd

Hah I know, well intels 6600 was better for the price and frankly in every way for a couple of months when I bought it. But yeah in general amd is superior.

Completely ignoring the cancer topic, the research studies protein mis folding. As I stated in my first posts, this is believed to be the cause of Alzheimer's disease, cystic fibrosis, BSE (Mad Cow disease), etc. The knowledge gained from this project could go a long way to helping the understanding of any one of those horrible diseases. If you choose not to join the team I appreciate that, I just hope that you looked past my regrettably careless mention of cancer to the research project itself to make that decision. Also please keep in mind, we're just trying to support Dr. Paul in every little way we can here.

Seems to depend significantly on the complexity of the work unit you're given.

That doesn't sound unreasonable given the speed of your processor. Most of my computers I'm running it on are ~3Ghz P4s, and they've been taking about a day and a half to two days per WU. I haven't paid any attention to how long each frame was taking but I'm guessing a lot more than that.

Plus I've been seeing 250 frame work units and 5000 frame work units. The 5000 frames go by a lot faster but there are a lot more of them.

I can't support something that is looking for a "cure" when we already have a cure. I am not sure why you can't understand. It's a farce.

I could tell you what potential things cause those other diseases.

Here are a few things.
First one is our poisoned food supply and environment. Full of genetically modified organisms, preservatives, fluoride, soy etc. We live in a world full of chemicals, fragrances and heavy metals.
Vaccinations. Full of preservatives and tons of filler and aborted tissues. It creates an immune response and your body starts attacking itself. This causes allergies in a lot of people.
They have also found that high amounts of aluminum is found in people who have Alzheimer's. And a lot of the memory loss is aluminum poisoning.

I feel we already have the answers to these problems, but most doctors just want a patented pill or patented gene therapy to "cure" it (Money). I don't think that's necessary at all and I don't think our bodies were meant to take all these synthetic pills.

What I should say is I don't trust science much. It's manipulated on a daily basis to fool people to take deadly pills, drugs, and vaccinations. In all the while making up negative data on natural products that really do work.

Just wanted to post an update, we've past the 15K mark! Only one more person has joined, but we're up to 19 computers working together. I've actually set up a couple of more to work over the next couple of weeks while I'm gone. I'll have to take them offline when I get back, but hopefully they can do some good. Also I got a buddy to join up but he isn't showing up yet.
