Hi, Cujo and Gabecpa, I am the author, yours truly. Yes, it is being spammed by few, but overwhelmingly the signatures are legit. I will sending a hard copy with signtures and comments under appropriate cover directly to the RNC next week. The spam signatures will be crossed out and the final number recalculated.

I so wish that site would have prompted me for city and state fields with signatures. That info would have great impact as well, but I think the petition in its final form will serve as great support of the phone calls the RNC is receiving this week. I believe the RNC will with question understand the message.

Democracy in action. I'm so pleased to see the apathy of America lifting as it is our greatest enemy.

Can you blast it out to every media outlet you can think of?

Hit Fox with it, hit CNN, all the mainsleazemedia outlets, AND the online sites where it will be more likely to get publicity.

Awwww, politics in action. Michigan is a very important state for Ron Paul. It has a history of supporting alternative candidates. For instance I believe it had one of the highest percentages for Ralph Nadar in 2000. It's also an open primary + winner take all. RP could do quite well there.
