Although Hawaii County is the largest island in the state, it is very sparsely populated, and has less than 20% of the states population.

Based on that (if GOP voting reasonably mirrors population, which seems a fair assumption) and present trends continue Santorum could take HI
that's boggling.

Surely not what I'm hoping for as an outcome however a broken Romney here sets his trajectory even lower (this state was predicted by everyone I've read as going to Romeny so if it doesn't... )

I voted in HI county. The line was long, with a fair amount of seniors and also young to middle aged voters; maybe about half and half (one guy had a Ron Paul shirt on). I also heard an older man talking loudly at volunteer that Ron Paul supporters were being treated badly at other polling places around the country! He also demanded to know the chain of custody for the ballots
