Hawaii Caucus Results Thread

Voted in Kaneohe tonight. Was literally the only person under 30 there. Stood out with my black hair, 90% of the voters here were 60+ years of age.

Welcome to the forums, and thanks for actually getting out and voting!

There are so many states that Paul would win if Romney wasn't running. :(

Thanks for the warm welcome! One thing that I thought interesting was that according to the chairs at my voting location you were only allowed to cast your ballot if you were from Districts 48 and 49 (Kaneohe), or 47 (Laie). Anyone else who wasn't from this side of the island wasn't allowed to vote (not that anyone would come to Kaneohe to vote if they lived in town).

Has a "Ron Paul will save SSI" type TV spots gone out? Link? I think that would help with people my age and older.

Someone may have better information but I haven't seen a spot focused on that.
I've seen the information in his plan and I've seen Paul address it in interviews but obviously both of those things have a limited saturation rate and won't reach many (most?) people.

I would think that would be a great help in getting votes from us "Older more distinguished looking" folks :)
I too have seen him talk about it.
How can we get a message to the campaign about it, surely they have thought about it at some time.

A lot of people are saying that older people are voting which could split the vote between Newt/Mitt/Santorum. Hopefully we get most of the young/independent voters to inch out a win at 25.1-30%

NOPE. The official campaign failed this area, BIG TIME...but the grassroots has worked on it. Here are two from me, you can share with family/friends:
