Hate To Post A New Thread, But...

Millions of Muslims needing killing?
If that is the case then America does deserve another President OTHER than Dr. Paul.

It all boils down to food on the table, mortgages to pay, benefits upon retirement and when one gets sick. Lose sight of that, and we lose the race.

As the OP said, SC was just protecting their jobs - ergo - McCain.
Yucca Mountain was just protecting their backyard from nukes - ergo - Dr. Paul.

Dr. Paul is such a gentleman, he is seen as a weak leader. We know better, but the sheep don't. That is why the 'Just War' ad is so vital. It benefits the RP campaign in many ways. It COULD have helped in SC.

The sham of it all is that NOBODY speaks of the 590 billion dollars worth of "foreign investment" in the US last year from the china, kuwait, israel and russia. it's happening right under our noses and all of this other crap is nothing more than distraction from it. they are buying us out and we are selling it to them. That is what sucks!

boycott SC?????

Fuck SC???

am I reading these quotes right....

How quickly we resort to bashing the very state you guys were kissing Ass to only three days ago.

Would anyone like to get some feedback on things we learned in this state that may help you? Since SC was such a large battleground, some of us actually took weeks off work and learned an awful lot about good techniques and bad techniques. I won't waste this info here. (A lot of big words)

I guess you don't want that. Just call us warmonger's and make some more jokes about miss teen SC. All this helps our cause.

We didn't win the young vote and turnout was a joke. Elderly voters ALWAYS VOTE... Youth NEVER VOTE. We thought we were different -we were not

1.The weather sucked and the youth didn't vote. I worked the busiest poll in Columbia and it had less than 25% turnout.

2. The close race pushed some fence sitters away. I worked the phones at HQ Saturday and had at least 1 dozen calls from people asking me how they weren't going to blow it by voting for Paul. When huck got all those last minute endorsements, it became a race again.

3. The only technique that works is face to face canvassing. THATS it. looking at my precincts, the only turnout I had for DR. Paul was the precincts I dorr-to-doored. Signs do not work......period. One precinct I placed over 300 signs up over a period of 3 months. All the name recog. in the world......6 votes. Door to Door......... 50 votes. These areas are concurrent, so the signs and ads were seen in both areas equally.

4. Late night flier drops and leaflets do not work. Car windows either. People do not even read them at best and tear them up at worst and associate the candidate with "littering" or something like that at worst.

5. Aiken County had one of the highest voting percentages in the state for RP in an economically mixed area. Those guys busted their butts. They took out ads, marched in every holiday parade, worked door to door. Check out the Aiken SC meetup to see what all they accomplished.

6. We were also a victim of our own fervor. We were so vocal at events, we turned off many. We screamed and shouted at republican party events for Paul and stomped our feet with excitement. I had no problem with it, but even loyal RP supporters were embarrassed and all the yelling at formal events did not help our image.

7. Phone calls may help in other areas, but SC was inundated worse than New Hampshire for a while. Several people told me RP campaigners called them a half a dozen times. robot-dialer and real persons.

Just my rant to those who now talk smack about SC. Maybe take these thoughts and run with them. I guess I'll go back to possum killing now.

Very disappointed

It's the CAMPAIGN strategies and Management... they should of known the demographics and exactly what to do in campaigning in SC.

Hey, has NE1 seen the CAMPAIGN STAFF?
