Everything in the news is a string of propaganda, and I've seen it first hand. The flood in Washington isn't all that bad, it happens every year, but they make it seem like it's the end of the world. I saw them cut and edit out parts of the Snohomish river to make it look more dramatic. They were down by the soccer fields (which gets flooded even if there isn't much rain), to make it look dramatic! Yet the river was barely over the park! GAH!

I was in Kuwait City right on the Gulf and my buddy was telling me about how during the first Gulf War the news cameras had to choose their angles just right so that when they were shooting video with the news anchor talking with a Kuwaiti landmark in the background they couldn't show the water because if you were to see the water you'd see the jet skiiers and sail boats enjoying a typical afternoon on the water.
