Has anyone ever eaten wild boar meat?

You want to go to Tuscany and get the banded Cinta Senese.

A friend at work goes to Texas a few times a year and hunts with pit bulls with protective vests on, and always has some tasty wild boar recipe on food days. Last time it was wild boar fajitas, which was delicious.

Traditional deep pit slow cooking preferred (12 hours). Its safe, tender and delicious! My uncle (from east Texas - 'nuff said) used to rope them with his dog teams for fun. I'm talking vicious long tusked man-eating beasts - this was no childs play by any stretch of the imagination. Every year when I was a kid we would visit my uncle Emery on July 4th and he always had one in his horse trailer.

Note: If you ever come face to face with an east Texas wild hog -- you'll never go camping again! I promise -- Even if the one you saw was in a trailer -- LoL! Not Kidding -- Those things are vicious!

Bore hogs have a musk smell that is real bad while cooking and eating it. There is a shot many meat processing companies give that can take it out, or you can catch it, castrate it, feed it for about three months, and that will get rid of the musk smell too. Most people kill the bore (mail hog) as trophies, and throw the meat away.

Here is what farmers say about eating guinea hens: sneak up on it so as not to frighten it. Use only clay shingles to cook it on an open fire. Then throw the hen away, and eat the shingles. :)
