I'm sure with GOOGLE's Wealth , Market cap is over $215 BILLION dollars and earns BILLIONS each year...

pertaining to "Google RON PAUL".... couldn't we get GOOGLE to make a big donation for the BLIMP?

Just another avenue for fund raising... and their NAME/LOGO on the BLIMP

BTW, I would still pursue all the outdoor sporting events as possible.

PS: Will there be a PRESS "GROUND TEAM" following the BLIMP to all locations?

Google can't put money into the blimp because it will be carrying a ron paul ad. what you are purchasing is advertisement time, if google gave the company money to advertise Google Ron Paul it would be a violation of FEC regulations.
I don't agree with the regulations at all, but i'm sure google will abide by them.

Sure about that.

I'm not entirely convinced of that. Think about it. The legal team has only been able to put this together by making it not about the campaign. Hence no longer having "for president" on the blimp. I think they could legally get away with it if they wanted to donate. That being said, I highly doubt they would. Its freaking Google. They don't need to advertise.

It states that only individuals can donate on the website, there is a reason for that... Google can't buy ad time for Ron Paul.

I stand corrected

It does in fact limit who can purchase ad time to individuals. Doesn't quite make sense to me though. If they are selling a product (ad time) rather than donating towards a campaign, I don't really see why a company could not purchase a block of time just as easily as an individual.

I wonder if this is a possible way for Google to advertise.

The blimp has the phrase "Google Ron Paul"

"Google" Google is paying for advertisement of ITS OWN NAME ... the Google can be in their own colors on the blimp

the "Ron Paul" section is being paid by grassroots donors.

I am not a legal expert or anything, but I would imagine a good lawyer could make this stick.

.. or Google could sue us for using their trademarked name without permission and make sure the blimp never flies.

Not saying they will, just that they could.

If Google asks us to take it off we will. Very simple actually.

If Oprah is allowed to endlessly promote Obama on millions of TV screens across the United States, why isn't Google allowed to promote Ron Paul on a single blimp?

Because of the good intentions of "leaders" like McCain and Feingold.

It's ridiculous that in a "free country" people can't give what they want to give to who they want to give it when they want to give it!

Has anyone Contacted Google to see if they wish to...

'BUY' advertising time on the BLIMP?

There are 1000's of loop holes in supporting campaigns, generating revenue, and there has to be a few that can be used.

If you sell advertising of the "Google Logo" on each side of the blimp, that's not campaign contributions. That's advertising. Maybe not a good idea to put "Bunny Ranch for RP" lol

This probably a quickie approval by the legal team.

Peace, Wood
