Harvard Study Group would like to speak to me about my Ron Paul contributions?

Could you (or blackmail someone else) post picture of that letter (or post that letter) here without all personal information?

I'm hoping someone with more computer savvy volunteers.

That would be everyone.

FYI only donations above $200 have to be reported to the FEC. I've played with that data myself already, this is what people use to say who supports what candidate. (e.g. the troops support Paul, Wall street Obama / Romney). I think it's fair to keep the record public, so that people can scrutinize to look for fraud. If you want to donate less, then you are not reported.

They showed me the name of my neighbors who had donated less than $200.

At least one competent, detail-oriented person should participate and see what it's about.

My first hunch is intimidation. Not that I hold to that with much.

Studying our donations would seem sort of mundane to me. Just a bunch of people trying regain control of their country though a hard earned dollar.

Studying every one else would be where the real story lies, if what I suspect is true.

Imagine that you can fire up the fake money presses any time you want, for anything you want. Then imagine your so cheep even then you don't spend your own money to buy what you want. Imagine your so cheep that you just use enough of your own to encourage others to do your bidding for you. They in turn borrow from you to get what you want done. Have you wondered why the politicians never come to us anymore and the orders seem to come from outside?

I think this is part of the new world order of things. It could be that it involves a lot of people and their occupations and a whole lot of back scratching. Many could be selling their sacred trust.

Remember, with the way the system of fiat is set up not only can people inside of our country print up what ever it takes to dictate their way, others outside can also.

No matter how much honest, hard earned money everyone in the world could gather up to build their planet the way they want others can fire up the fake money presses and dictate their way...but then I said that already.

Just the easy links between companies bailed out and their political contributions would make some interesting fodder to generate interest. I don't even think they care about scooting the funds around like they might with the Three Card Monte or Shell Game like they may of when we had a justice system.

Don't tell them ANYTHING. They're data mining to help them defeat us. Not in the short term but in the long term. They're social engineers and anything you say WILL be used against you.

I got the same letter, dated April 25th,a few days ago.6 names on it,4 rep and 2 dem.Mine was my full name, everyone else was just first name and initial.

On the out side of the envelope,in HUGE letters,it says:

Dear (my first name) :
Important information
about political
campaign contributions

This covered the entire envelope. I don't know what to make of it.I found it strange.

Mine also had 4 Reps and 2 Dems

Same here.One was for $100.

Mine also had one for $100

I got a letter from the same organization, but the letter was different. It was reminding me of the max contributions allowed per person/group etc.

Funny, I got the same letter a few days ago and was pretty annoyed mainly because one of my family members almost found out how much I'd donated because of it. (They'd flip if they knew i maxed out.) And I don't care if other people know I donated to Ron, but just putting "REP" instead of "Ron Paul" now makes me look like some sort of big-shot Republican donor, especially since I apparently donated more than all the neighbors on my list combined lol. Not that I recognize the names of any of the "neighbors" they included.

I haven't bothered to check out the links yet, but I'd be interested to find out what the point of this is supposed to be.

This says it's for a thesis

http://www.campaign-information.info/

What's odd is how there seems to be no point to the letter. No questions asked. They claim they're interested in the impact of contribution info being public information. How would they have any idea if they don't ask questions?

I just got the same thing. I didn't understand the purpose of the letter at all. I just threw it out.

Ditto

Received a letter today from: Harvard University, 108 Littauer Center, Cambridge, MA 02138.

In the letter they highlight that - Your full name, address and details about your campaign contributions are freely available to anyone with Internet access.

They then provide this link to the FEC: www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/norindsea.shtml

This group then informs me I can use this site to see who my neighbors, friends and co-workers are supporting politically.

The letter concludes with an invitation to their website at: www.campaign-information.info

Has anyone else recieved a letter like this and what do you think is the purpose of the Harvard based group?

I got one too. Odd thing to mail out with no expectation of finding anything out from you. Seems like a waste of money.
