Hamas attacks Israel

Why didn't you just ask me? I've been to at least a dozen of those things and have heard at least one of the DJs who was there. It's my favorite scene.

However you're not completely correct. The woman who was gang raped and had her legs snapped and killed then was paraded through the streets of Gaza was a prominent peace activist, and part of the reason they had the festival there was to discuss and sympathize with the Palestinian plight (not the Hamas violence, they would not support that like BLM does..), and send some positive vibes. I guess they didn't have enough mushrooms.

The festivals I've been to similar to that one typically have music all afternoon and night until sunrise. Then they have yoga and educational talks during the day until the music starts up again.

I looked at the actual promotional websites. There was nothing about Gaza or the Palestinian plight.

I can't speak for every individual who attended, nor did I find anything about the murdered woman being an Israel/Palestine peace activist. Do you have a link to that?

Those words are used loosely these days. If you binge drink on a weekend and cry about certain issues on instagram, you're an activist. If you eat mushrooms and wash it down with cough syup or benadryl you're a shaman of peace. I don't know the exact rules, it depends upon the "activist's" connection with those in the media and what narrative is being served. You could just as easily be labeled a white supremicist.

I haven't watched ANY mainstream coverage of this, intentionally. Same goes for other times.

You Tube is where I watch coverage now.

Anyway, I don't think WW3 or even a huge regional war involving US will break out here. If you want the long version on that,
you're going to have to ask for it. lol.

I just heard it was part of the theme at the festival as far as prayer/talk stuff, they won't necessarily advertise it on promotional materials. I'm very familiar with how all these events go. I have many friends who have helped organize these types of things. I did DMT at one after a DMT talk, they took everybody up on the mountain who wanted to go and provided it for everyone. It was not advertised on the promotional materials..

I will support what you say here. I have been to that kind of festival, not in Israel but other places around the world and the kind of crowd that is attracted is really varied. It is not unlikely that part of the crowd in some form was there to support peace.

I've heard she was not only a peace campaigner, but a conscientious objector to military service in Israel. Not sure what her whole background is, but I can tell you these people tend to all oppose violence in a very serious way.

If you only see all these modern hippie festival people as a bunch of leftists on "drugs", I'm telling you that you're not correct. (I don't even like to call molly, lsd, shrooms, etc "drugs", it's not the same as alcohol/cocaine/meth/heroin, in fact they do the opposite to your brain.. they increase consciousness while most drugs out there, including alcohol, decrease consciousness). More Biden voters than Trump voters? Probably.. they are just varying groups of people.. but they tend to not be very political, nobody has a problem with anarchist/libertarian types, many of them are just that. They tend to be a very live and let live bunch. I've not once gotten in any trouble espousing any of my political views to any of them before.

For the sake of posting a permanent record online, of course I tried mushrooms: lions main, shitake, etc.

Joking aside, although there are great medicinal qualities in Psychedelics, I have met a few self proclaimed shamans in my time who fit that description above. I posted what I did with tongue firmly in cheek. I'm glad you got an lol, that was my intent.

I agree here too. You will find many more marxists than libertarians at these events, but you will find more libertarians than your average society ratio. But it's also not the place for politics. Generally good people although you will find assholes everywhere.

There is quite a movement to get psylocibin mushrooms legalized for medicinal purposes. Literature and word of mouth does suggest that microdosing might be very beneficial, stress relieving and good for general well being, without being psychedelic at all. Also, for therapy there may be benefits. Similar to MDMA maybe being the best medicine to use in PTSD therapy.

Everybody is different, some people take mushrooms and get the whole "one consciousness" vibe which can lead some into desiring a type of communal societal structure. But I just can't imagine anybody doing a heavy dose of mushrooms and coming out of it thinking that a group of power hungry individuals should be able to tell people how to live their life.. if they do, they need to do another dose alone in the forest.

Dude. I was joking around. I wasn't posting an experience on Erowid. Lol

Personally I think that there’s no excuse for innocent bloodshed, but all in all my conclusion is that Palestinians have suffered more from the brave Israeli army, than Israelis from the cowardly Hamas terrorists.
Likewise there can be no excuse for a blockade of Gaza from food, water and energy…

The Jewish Bernie Sanders says that Isarel is violating international law by imposing a punishing blockade on the “open-air prison” Gaza.

Bernie also condemned the brutal attack by Hamas.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticised some of the Democrats that don’t fully condemn Hamas or don’t support Israel’s retaliation enough (this doesn’t include the Jewish Sanders though).
I've seen some of those statements this weekend, and we're going to continue to be very clear. We believe they're wrong, we believe they're repugnant, and we believe they're disgraceful.
Our condemnation belongs squarely with terrorists who have brutally murdered, raped, kidnapped hundreds, hundreds of Israelis. There can be no equivocation about that. There are not two sides here. There are not two sides.
