H.R. 393: Universal National Service Act of 2007:

"To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to make permanent the favorable treatment afforded combat pay under the earned income tax credit, and for other purposes."

I like how these elected Representatives think they own us.
 
Guys check out Charles Rangel..He has introduced this several times as more of a protest than anything...saying that more rich politicians children should be going to fight. Wiki it :) It's almost humorous, if it hadn't given me a heart attack the first time I saw it.

at least there's not too much of a risk of being blown up in the white house.
ill take washing dishes over iraq any day, just hope they don't give my job to an illegal they grant amnesty to
