US supreme court ruled that individuals have the right to handguns in DC today.

Does this change the march? Are marchers now allowed to protect themselves and bring guns? Or is there some sort of waiting period till the ruling of the supreme court takes affect?

Basically, no. You still can't open- or concealed-carry in DC, and the ruling was specific to weapons in people's homes, not carried on the streets.

We still have a long way to go, so don't bring your heater this time.

This is correct. Do NOT bring firearms to the march. If you bring anything that could be used as a weapon, you may be asked to surrender it or leave federal property.

For an up to date list of what to bring and what not to bring to the march, please refer to:

Mayor Fenty was angry about it.

But no, it means people are allowed to have a gun in their house, and use it - in their house.

Guns at the march

Absolutely 100% no.
Do not brings weapons to the march in D.C.
While, I am pro second amendment, The march is not the place for weapons.
It is absured to think that it would be.
