Greg Brannon - US Senate Throw Down Party

I assume he has found that it is important to his constituents and himself personally (gay marriage). As far as a political issue, I find it more a typical diversion from more important issues. Best not to get involved, IMHO.

Abortion and gay marriage are sideshow issues for carnival voters. The lesson is to not be a carnival voter. I'd vote for a pro-choice candidate if he could honestly save this sad-sack nation, even though I am firmly pro-life.

Brannon is pro-gun, anti-Fed, anti-IRS, and pro-Constitution.

That is enough for me.

Brannon is very pure, perhaps even more so than Rand. His views are identical to Ron's.

Identical? In any case I have not been paying too much attention to this race, although I see his updates on facebook. How is he doing in the polls? Does him winning seem like a likely possibility?

Edit: Just checked recent PPP. Looks like he's only at 7% :/

He was the best general election candidate on PPP, down only 44-40 to Hagan. Most of the GOP candidates on PPP aren't running. Thillis who is the only other candidate didn't set the world on fire either.

Re: gay marriage

Don't forget, NC last Spring passed a gay marriage/civil union ban with greater than 60% of the vote.

He currently has 40% in a head to head with Hagan.

Very likely that Brannon can beat Hagan. Her disapproval numbers are higher than her approval:

Raleigh, N.C.- PPP’s latest poll of North Carolina voters finds a tight, though slightly Democratic-leaning, Senate race brewing for 2014. Senator Kay Hagan, who has a 41% approval rating compared to 42% who disapprove...

Brannon is also the strongest declared GOP candidate in a head to head contest with Hagan. All he needs is more name recognition:

June 12-14, 2013
Survey of 500 North Carolina voters

Q12
If the candidates for Senate in 2014 were
Democrat Kay Hagan and Republican Greg
Brannon, who would you vote for?
44% Kay Hagan
40% Greg Brannon

Dear Mr. sluggo,

Thank you for your generous contribution to my campaign. It is an honor to have your support in becoming the next Senator from the sovereign State of North Carolina.

During this critical time in my campaign, it is imperative that I continue sharing our message with voters across the state.

It is with your generous support and confidence that I can continue fighting for the constitutional conservative values that have made our nation great.

With you on my team I am confident we will be victorious on Election Day.

I look forward to working with you in the coming weeks and months to Restore the American Dream here in North Carolina.

Sincerely,
Greg Brannon for Senate

Two hours from the deadline.

Apparently, Brannon just got an endorsement from the National Association for Gun Rights.

I hope that will be good for a couple of donations.

Nice. Any links for that news?

She probably has the worst polling numbers of any incumbent in America. She is toast.

I saw it in an email from the Brannon campaign.

[SIZE=-1]Dear sluggo,

The 2014 elections will be here before you know it.

And with Michael Bloomberg planning to spend tens of millions of dollars in next year's election to elect an anti-gun House and Senate, it's critical you know which pro-gun heroes to support.

I'm currently down in North Carolina with Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Greg Brannon.

After spending time with Greg, I can assure you he's the kind of leader we need to join Pro-Gun Senators like Rand Paul and Mike Lee in their fight to defend our Second Amendment freedoms.

While so many politicians pay lip service to the Constitution, Greg Brannon knows what "infringe" means, and will be a strong advocate for the right to keep and bear arms.

sluggo, because I believe this race is so critical, your National Association for Gun Rights PAC just donated $3,000 to Greg Brannon's campaign.

Not only that, but I made a personal contribution to Greg Brannon's campaign.

The June 30 End of the Quarter Fundraising Deadline is rapidly approaching, and a strong showing will send the powerful gun-control lobby a loud-and-clear message: HANDS OFF OUR GUN RIGHTS!

After you read the email below from Greg Brannon letting you know exactly where he stands on the Second Amendment, I hope you'll join me by CLICKING HERE to make a generous contribution to Greg's campaign.

Paging johndeal...

Gonna need a ticker on Brannon's moneybomb days next year. He can raise money but tickers are so important to keeping interest. The birth of the moneybomb came from the ticker idea itself.

If you remember Ron's first birthday mb then you will understand what I mean. I hate that tickers have been abandoned by Liberty candidates.
