Greg Brannon on TheBlaze Radio w/ Glenn Beck 2/18/14 (tube added)

Yeah, because that's what's most important now, right? Not the fact that Beck gave Brannon a platform to speak and get exposure.

The exposure is excellent. Not debating that.

Just wait til the next time Beck has Brannon on and they get into foreign policy.

Please, getting tired of this "Wait till Beck backstabs", "Wait till Hannity backstabs" kinda negativity in every thread. So WHAT? Find areas of common interest and build on that. If they discuss FP, let's only hope that Brannon presents it in a way which doesn't alienate Beck.

DUMB LIVE!!!
SHOUTSOUT TO GREG BRANNON
MY DAWG GONNA JUMP IN THE SENATE AND TAG TEAM ALL LEGISLATION BY WITH RAND, TED, AND MIKE.
THEIR INFLUENCE IN THE SENATE IS GONNA BE VERY STRONG. #JUSTWAITONIT

Greg was, as almost always, very well spoken and used history, historical document references, and examples to answer questions and try and answer a few questions. Though, it was a rather "lite" interview, with not a lot of topics addressed.

Glad to see him get some more major exposure though, and +rep to him and the campaign having the /glenn domain already setup and ready to go for the show.

I don't trust Beck farther than I can throw him but that was a very positive interview. Now, Brannon should keep his distance from Beck from here on out. Beck will try to pull a "Medina" on Brannon later in the campaign when Brannon emerges as a real threat to win the primary.

Just saw a message from Nick Dyer, the former Ted Cruz staffer who's now Brannon's Political Director (volunteer coordinator). The campaign raised over $20,000 and signed up over 100 new volunteers today on the strength of the Beck interview.

I don't think Beck was trying to "pull a Medina" on Medina. I think he was trying to oust any potential 9/11 truthers. They make the Tea Party look bad.

The current Tea Party doesn't need help to look bad. Sarah Palin, Beck, and Bachmann took care of that 5 years ago.

Impressive that Brannon cited Article IV as a key feature of U.S. sovereignty. Don't hear many politicians ever cite constitutional attribution for policy.

And why would he try to oust anyone that doesn't support the "Official Story(tm)"? What did 9/11 have to do with being Governor of Texas exactly?

(-bearing in mind that Im certain Taftfan is well aware of this-)
Beck's schtick is generally "honey - honey - poison" and I fully expect he will follow this script with Greg. Today was honey #1. You better believe Beck's people have already latched on the lawsuit stuff, some of Brannon's old commentaries, etc just waiting to spring them on him when the timing is right. If Greg wants to suck up to Beck with an expectation that Beck is his new BFF then Greg will be in for a rude awakening. Brannon should use Beck's schtick against him to build support (like he did today) but avoid him like the plague in the future. Heck, if I were Brannon's campaign manager I'd take today's interview and use the content through the rest of the campaign while never actually speaking to Beck again.
