Granville County Republican Convention Tomorrow Night

The Granville County Republican Convention is TOMORROW (Thursday) night at 7:00pm in the District Court room of the Granville County Courthouse in Oxford.

Man, it was pathetic. Not because we didn't have a strong showing of force (we didn't, I was the only RP guy there unless there was one I didn't know), but because NO ONE showed up. There was unless than 10 people there. The Granville County GOP is pathetic, turns out... although that really doesn't surprise me.

Is Granville split with other districts? Even in Mecklenburg, there were small delegations like that for districts 8 and 12 (with about as many delegates as the district number ) because only bits of Mecklenburg contain those districts.

And even though it was a major disappointment to see how pathetic the Granville GOP is the good news it makes it easier to take over the County party and turn it around in the future.

Just so I understood you- you said nobody showed then there were 10 people... did you mean nobody for your precinct showed up while others showed for different precinct?

I was exaggerating when I said "no one showed up." There were 10 people at the Convention total from all precincts. That's it.

Congressional districts, yes, but as far as I know the Convention is for the entire county.
