I voted B. I think I'm being bit generous with that, but I admired the way he stuck up for himself more tonight. I actually think King did a much better job as moderator than Baier at Fox, though he still gave too much time for back and forth between Romney and Newt.
Anyway, that last answer was Dr. Paul's chance to really summarize why he's the best candidate and he didn't quite do that, which is why I can't give him an A. My son, who is objective in the sense he doesn't have a favorite yet, thought Santorum did a better job of laying out why he should be the nominee and I can't really argue with that. Rick appeals to voters much more on emotion than the others do, and that resonates with a lot of people. Dr. Paul tries the more logical approach, which is fine, but can be lacking when you really want that solid auditory punch to seal the deal.
I'm actually glad that Santorum did well in the debate, because even though I want Paul to finish ahead of him, I think he may draw more votes away from the other two than Paul, and give it a chance to be closer. We'll see.
