GOPers in Missouri aren't too happy..

My favorite part:

"I welcome these people to the Republican party," Bennett said. "If they want to be apart, that's fine, I have no problem with that. ... I think the way they are going about doing this, it disenfranchised a lot of the Republican faithful of St. Charles County."

Say huh? Losing does not equal disenfranchisment.

In Missouri, 5% voted for Paul. 95% voted for (in descending order) McCain, Romney and Huckabee. It seems clear that the number of county delegates Paul supporters won bears little proportion to the votes received - rather to the dedication and conviction behind each one of those votes.

I said it before and Ill say it again....we played by their rules and won! We dominated these conventions in most cases; not our fault our people are willing to show up.

Unless they disenfranchise themselves :) - I'm not in Missouri but I know at least one "dedicated" GOPer who quit the party in my city after "Ron Paul libertarians" (her words) failed to endorse a neo-con candidate for a local race.

Neo-cons -1

Oh the stories we will have to share in Sept. - Let's get all those Ron Paul delegates to St. Paul!

It's interesting how the Huck's Army forum does have posts from people swearing that they will never vote for McCain ... but very litttle effort at keeping their delegate base growing.

HAHAHAHA. Thats probably the best thing I'll hear all day.

Bennett said the Ron Paul supporters should do what other Republicans have done and look at the big picture when it comes to the future of the GOP.

Thats what we're doing. Electing McPain is in no ones best interest, whether their competent enough to know it or not.

This makes me smile.:D

It makes me smile as well.

If these warmongering dinosaurs want to keep their power, they are going to have to join us or fight us. Either way, they are not going to ever be happy, and I do not care. Their current ideology is headed out the door, wheteher they want to follow the ideology to the landfill or not is up to them.

I'm really happy for this win. It's about time that we got something in return. :D

The GOP are so used to steam rolling over spineless democrats, that they dont know what to do when Liberty minded folk show up and dont back down. Its easier to have passion supporting liberty than war and socialism.

We're doing the same thing they did to us in Louisiana. They got Missouried!

And do not be surprised when the party machine does the same thing it did in Louisiana. And that's OK. Let them demonstrate how recalitrant they are to admit fresh ideas into the "big tent". The more states with contested delegations, the less credibility for McInsane's nomination.
