Elections must be coming up.

In my time Republicans have promised, among MANY other things, to abolish the Dept of Education, the ATF, to block the Brady Act and Asaault Weapons Ban of 94 ( both became law with republicans actually cooperating with Dems to pass them), to restore fiscal responsibility and CONstitutional protections of liberty and a full repeal of Obamacare.

NONE OF IT EVER HAPPENED.

I’ll believe this ahit when I see it.

The last time a federal law enforcement agency was promised to be abolished it was the ATF because congressional hearings had revealed just a bit of how corrupt and rogue they were. Far from being abolished what actually happened was they got their budget INCREASED and promised to adopt "reforms." Republican promises are worthless.
