GOP operative Jesse Benton re-emerges with possible Rand Paul opponent in his sights

And keep in mind, Jesse is the reason Ron ran in 2012. If it hadn't been for Jesse's insisting, then Ron probably would've have run.

Cite your source, along with where you teach. LOL.

I read an anonymous source online that was quoted as saying Jesse Benton was fired (see: forced to resign) from C4L, and that he stole the lists from Ron Paul 2012, Campaign 4 Liberty, and LPAC, and that Ron Paul was very upset about it.

I bet I have more links to that, than you do to your claims.

Oh, and what was the benefit of Ron Paul running in 2012 exactly? Rand Paul abandoning his father's foreign policy positions? Foreign aid positions? Constitutional positions? HUGE benefit to us, the idea of speaking truth to power.

Or, was the benefit simply to help Mitt Romney win the nomination so Rand could become a team player at the expense of liberty activists and supporters?

And for a long time he was not He Who Must Not Be Named. But now he is He Who Must Not Be Named. It seems push came to shove, and he had no choice but to do something right or really sell his soul. It smells that way. They used to invite him on the Sunday morning shows, now they don't even talk about him.

But he continues to do the things that will ostensibly keep the press from roasting him, because everyone they approve of is doing it, just as long as its symbolic and/or a foregone conclusion.

So, looks like it's time to crank up the old make fun of the blackout game again. I know the (mod edit) doesn't think so, and doesn't want to hear it, but I thought I'd drop it here for those who care...

I'm not at all confident that the liberty movement will ever regain a fraction of the energy that it demonstrated during the GOP primary for the 2012 Presidential election. Too many people who were a part of it got to witness too much of how the game is really played.

But this much I know. Rand Paul and his buddy Jesse Benton will play no part in it.

I don't think it's time to crank up the "old make fun of the blackout game again"? Are you talking about things like making videos like in 2012 showing the blackout of Ron Paul from certain things in the media? Or, like what Jon Stewart did after the Iowa Ames Straw Poll?
