Sorta...
From PPP National 12/19, Bachmann voters 2nd choices are:

Grinch: 16%
Paul: 12%
Perry: 39%
Romney: 7%
Santorum: 24%

So, we'll probably get a 1% bump nationally, which is better than what Romney gets.

National polls don't really matter at this point outside of their use as media propaganda.

In New Hampshire the media will surge Huntsman.

In South Carolina they will surge Perry.

We need to take them both down so that we can take Mitt on 1v1.

Unless there's been a reversal, Perry is still in, albeit a warm political corpse.

A poll showing that RP is the FOURTH alternative for Bachmann supporters results in the headline of "Good news, we get the Bachmann supporters."

I mean, I'm all for positive energy and positive thinking, but let's steer clear of optimism based on falsehoods (delusion)

We've gotta start hitting Romney more as well. Stop the notion that "he's gonna be the nominee anyway so might as well vote for him". That was the point of the America poll "who do you think will get the nomination".

We need to get the message out there, if the RNC puts up Romney, it will be a victory for Obama because people are tired of flip flopping Liberal RINOs. Especially when 32% of voters consider themselves Indys.

Everyone hates Obama but by the time the election rolls around, Romney will be so thoroughly exposed, that voter apathy is going to set in resulting in a victory for Obama - this is the point we need to make now.

I'm still scratching my head as to why Gingrich is so popular, especially among Bachmann supporters! Do they know how Gingrich treats women?

Once again, the point is that we get more than Romney. This is a 2 man race and a net benefit for us.

We need to spend more time attacking Bush Sr. imo. Stop attacking the puppets and go after the puppet masters instead.

I get your point, but I don't agree with such misleading thread titles. Also, I don't agree that it is necessarily a two man race. Sure, Romney is the greatest threat to get the nomination, but after Iowa last election, Huckabee was a major threat, and we saw how that fizzled out and McCain ran away with the nomination. Heck, Romney had a solid national organization last go around too.
My point is, don't be so quick to discount the propping up of another candidate to become the establishment empty suit.

Perry is definitely back in. He tweeted this morning and his son confirmed it. He's resting in Texas and heading to NH on Friday.

I doubt resting. I'm sure they're hardcore debate training as we speak and coming up with zingers to get the bachmann leftovers for SC.
