I've been wanting to study King Solomon and Freemasonry. Can anyone tell me some good books to check out?

Thanks

I believe there is a section on him in the Bible. I don't think it mentions anything about him being a Freemason though.

Well I mean I want some books on him and how freemasonry goes back to the temple of Solomon. Never implied he was.

The idea is that Solomon practiced what was Biblically defined as the occult, so in theory, things like Osiris worship.

When the Templar excavated his temple, that is when they allegedly discovered these things, which they allegedly came to practice themselves.

A connection to Freemasonry is if Freemasons adopted these same things from the Templar, which I believe that they clearly have, one way or another.

One theory is that it all came together in Scotland, where some of the Templar fled, and eventually mixed in with Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

Are you the same BFranklin who used to frequent these forums and had thousands of posts?

One of my favorite preachers is currently preaching on Solomon. He started 1 Kings the first week of May, and it will probably take him until the end of the year to finish it (he is in chapter 6 now). So you should get plenty of Solomon out of them.

The KNIGHTS TEMPLAR (Order of Solomon's Temple) (founded 1118) were sent on the Crusades to metaphorically capture the ‘ARK of the COVENANT’ (kept in SOLOMON’s TEMPLE).

The ‘ARK of the COVENANT’ can be re-interpreted as the ‘CONTRACT of the ARCH’ and is pretty much what modern Freemasonry is all about.

The Knights Templar (Order of Solomon's Temple) still exist to this day in the modern structure of Freemasonry and they stand on the top step of the YORK RITE of Freemasonry.
