Glenn Beck warns huckabee to stay out of race

Like the issues that same so called conservatives had last time with him? He has a certain loyal following which ignores logic and has decided to make the Republican party their stomping ground. The more Beck talks the more he sounds like he is still the msm shill instead of shoving it in Murdoch's face. Huckabee had his time in the sun but acted like a horses rear with his run off at the mouth before his brain engages attitude. I think this is more a very public shaming for someone who has a gigantic ego and is not going to get anointing he got last time.
 
I think Beck is just throwing live grenades into a crowded room on his way out at FOX.
 
The people that stick with Huckabee without really looking at his positions are the Christians. I live in Kansas, smack dab in the middle of the bible belt - and every single Huckabee supporter I talked to supported him because he broadcast his Christianity.
 
Beck has officially taken it upon himself to be the republican gatekeeper after witnessing the charade that went on in 2008. Two rinos were left when the dust cleared, only to be mauled by the boy king in the general. This is going to bode well for Ron if he can correct his mistakes and maintain message discipline. I suspect that other progressive Romney is going to be the next target. Beck did a hitpiece on his atrocious healthcare program a year or two ago. So far Beck has hit at Kristol and Huckabee. I suspect Romney and Limbaugh are next on the slate. It's like shooting ducks in a barrel.

The Judge is a friend of Beck's.

If Beck is attacking Huckabee that makes our job much easier. Hopefully it will convince Huckabee NOT to run!

I agree with whoever it was yesterday that said that Beck could be a useful idiot here in doing our dirty work for us. I just don't know if we can trust him to not trash RP in a similar fashion. He'll probably endorse Bachmann or Palin. I doubt those two can win though.

Beck isn't a useful idiot. He knows actually what he's doing, raising serious questions about the RINO candidates.

Ron doesn't really possess any progressive characteristics. He should be fine. And Beck has referred to him glowingly as a modern day founding father. Beck is not going to attack Ron. He likes Ron and his son, especially if you go back to one of their radio interviews a year ago.

Might be seeing a paradigm shift in the republican party with Beck serving as a major player in it. It's good to see.

Of course we will have to hear all the "honey honey poison", "look what he did to medina", crap etc on this thread now too lol.
 
Unless Huckabee's numbers drop off somehow, I fully expect him to run. He's just getting too good of a reception (unfortunately) to pass up another shot at it this year.
 
Beck wants Romney to get the nomination, so of course he wouldn't want Romney's biggest competitor to enter the race.

Beck already listed his top 3. Allen West, Michelle Bachmann and Ron Paul. Romney is a socialist as far as he's concerned (see clip below.. 46 second mark especially)

Did anybody else’s mom, I remember mine probably in 1969 saying, you know, things like: ‘If Mitt Romney would jump off a cliff, would you jump off too?’ Which wouldn’t have made any sense in 1969 because I wouldn’t have known who Mitt Romney was, but you get the point.

It seems to me that you can’t disprove your socialism with someone else’s socialism. Can you?

Well, my take is that if the Huckster has any brains whatsoever he'll keep out of it. He's not going to win the White House, and running for it would mostly give him an opportunity to be exposed as the warmongering, theocratic socialist he really is. Which wouldn't help his Faux ratings one bit.

If he doesn't quit while he's sitting pretty he's an idiot. Which, I realize, doesn't guarantee he'll quit while he's sitting pretty.

The thing is, I don't think people who watch his show are paying attention. He has the show now after 2008 (when all these issues were brought up), after all. ;)

Does anyone else seriously sense a Glenn beck endorsement of Ron Paul coming? He names Ron his 3rd favorite in the field with only two sure early dropouts ahead of him? He also said we should pull all of our troops out ofthe middle east "to regroup". To me it seems like he has already come around to the idea that Ron Paul is right on basically everything, he is just slowly positioning himself that way so he doesn't have to come out and admit he was wrong before. I think Ann coulter performed something similar by saying she supports Ron for 2012 because the war will be over. The wars obviously won't be over, but she wants to support Ron without contradicting all of her earlier pro war rants.

Not that I'm complaining. Welcome to them both! Hopefully more people will make these slow conversions.
