Glenn Beck warns huckabee to stay out of race

Does anyone else seriously sense a Glenn beck endorsement of Ron Paul coming? He names Ron his 3rd favorite in the field with only two sure early dropouts ahead of him? He also said we should pull all of our troops out ofthe middle east "to regroup". To me it seems like he has already come around to the idea that Ron Paul is right on basically everything, he is just slowly positioning himself that way so he doesn't have to come out and admit he was wrong before. I think Ann coulter performed something similar by saying she supports Ron for 2012 because the war will be over. The wars obviously won't be over, but she wants to support Ron without contradicting all of her earlier pro war rants.

Not that I'm complaining. Welcome to them both! Hopefully more people will make these slow conversions.

I am slowly working on converting my hard-right parents and I am making good progress.

Glenn is pretty unpredictable now. Last week I was listening to his radio show on my way to class, and someone called in talking about Ron Paul, and Glenn said that listening to Ron talk about monetary policy was almost erotic :O

He knows he can't win the general election so he won't run. It would be a waste of time for him, and probably take a beating on his wealth too. He made a name for himself in 2008 and that's all he needed. He ended up with a show on Fox News, probably speaking engagements, and who knows what else that will yield him millions per year. I can't see him running at all.

Mike Huckabee pardoned many violent criminals, including a Washington State Cop-Killer (Maurice Clemons).. Clemmons was serving a 60 year sentence when Huckabee granted clemency.

Mike Huckabee also pardoned/commuted the sentence of convicted rapists, including Wayne Dumond, who raped and murdered two more women after Huckabee helped spring him from prison.

Mike Huckabee squelched an investigation of his son, who was fired from his employment at a Boy Scouts camp for torturing and killing a stray dog.

Mike Huckabee has personally enriched himself by abusing his office; in other words, Mike Huckabee is a corrupt son of a gun:

He was investigated 16 times and cited five times by the Arkansas Ethics Commission for violating ethics rules. Two of those citations were for cash that the governor or his wife accepted but did not report. Huckabee's gifts peaked at $112,000 in 1999, including $23,000 worth of clothing; over half of that was given by one businessman who Huckabee appointed to a state board.

Huckabee made off with tens of thousands of dollars worth of state property, including furniture an audit confirmed was missing when Huckabee moved out of the Governor's mansion. Huckabee's wife claimed the audit was wrong, and the furniture must be there somewhere. The taxpayers paid to replace it, of course.

In 1999, Huckabee was sued for abuse of state funds, for using state funds for panty hose, barbecue, a dog house, dry cleaning, boat fuel, and alterations to his clothes. Huckabee settled out of court, agreeing not to do it again.

Huckabee used state police airplanes to shuttle himself and his family around the state scores of times each year, as well as trips to other states with early presidential primaries.

In 1994, Huckabee created a 'non-profit organization' called 'Action America,' which, in 2 1/2 years, paid Huckabee over $61,000 for giving speeches at events. This made it easier for donors to funnel unreported funds to the Governor.

Huckabee and his wife set up bridal registries at Dillards and Target for over $7,000 in housewares, and $1,000 in gift cards. State ethics laws prohibited the Huckabees from receiving gifts of more than $100 while he was doing the job of Governor of the state of Arkansas. But as you can imagine, there was an exception for wedding gifts. He and his wife had been married for three decades at this point.

He raised taxes more than Bill Clinton. Yes, THAT Bill Clinton. The former President and former Governor of Arkansas.

Mike Huckabee is ANYTHING BUT a Conservative.

Dude that was a long time ago. I think based on his more recent interviews that he is pretty much coming around to RP.

And I don't particularly like him, but he has a decent fan following, so I'm sure he could be an asset to the campaign this time around.

Not only deletion and DOD wipes of the drives, the backup tapes were missing... and it's blatantly obvious Huckabee and team took them... because only certain time frame backups were missing. You figure the government morons would destroy it all and make it look like an accident, no the .gov morons only steal the backup tapes for a particular period.

It also obvious Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes have filed separation from Glen Beck... no longer will Beck have to be puppeteer by the masters for his paycheck. Let's see how rouge old cynical Chucko will go before Ailes and Murdoch pull the plug.

Beck has tremendous influence over the neo con citizens who don't really understand history or politics. He was one of the first big names in the media to even mention libertarian as a philosophy and he himself has moved towards more Ron Paul thinking over the last 24 months. A lot of people have shifted their views since the 2008 election and Beck with his large audience has played a part in that. Don't underestimate the value and power of Beck to the movement towards restoring the Constitution.
