Beck said he was impressed by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s performance, saying he did “really, really well” and stuck to his principles on the issues.

“Rand Paul was in the winner section,” Beck said. “Now a lot of people say that he was perceived as angry. I thought he was fact-based. He has a middle-range voice that when he raises his voice, it’s kind of grating. That’s why when he was shouting, it didn’t go over well with some.”

“But I thought he did really, really well last night. And I was pleased with his performance,” Beck concluded, specifically referencing his debate with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie about domestic surveillance programs.

Watch the Youtube clip at the link and you'll see what I can't stand or care about Beck. Behind him he as a picture of a hand with a star of David. My personal politics begin and end with my attitude towards empire and our support for occupation of the Middle East with our budding apartheid state partner Israel. So fuck Beck and his Evangelical, end of the world preaching. Ted Cruz too.

But for Rand's campaign, good guy to have throwing compliments at him.

I'm finding that Paul's performance is getting the widest variety of reviews. Many have him listed as a debate winner, and many others as a debate loser. The other candidates, excepting Trump, all seem to be falling squarely on one side or the other.

Personally I think he played the hand he was dealt very well, I'd give him 4 out of 5 stars. I'm withholding one star because he could have been a bit smoother in his delivery.

Don't give a shit as long as it promotes Rand. Hate the fuck out of Bleeck and look forward to a backstabbing at some point. But, he does have an audience. They do listen to him, so..................

I stopped listening to Beck and Rush in Dec 2011 after all the talk show hosts coordinated nuclear attack against Ron during that month. They, Rush, Hannity, Beck, Levin, O'reilly, all went nuclear the minute Ron went from the bottom to the top in the Iowa poll around 23-25% I remember.

So today I decided to pop in to listen to Rush and Beck.

Rush really has a hard on for Trump and it's just gross because Trump is so empty, nothing really there to get excited about.

I was SHOCKED when I heard Glenn talking about his top 2 picks irrelevant of the debate. Glenn is a Cruz supporter. Rand is Beck's second choice yet after last night, he says Rubio moved up...not sure if third or second but Beck was impressed especially after Rubio's confrontation with CNN this morning over abortion.

How Beck treats Rand is going to depend a lot on how much of a threat Rand can be, and who he is a threat to. If pumping up Rand will help syphon votes from Trump, to make it easier for an establishment guy to win, I can see Beck going that route. That's essentially what he did with Santorum in '12.

I must admit Beck has been pretty consistent on his support for Rand. Even Pat and Stu have been very supportive of Rand as well.

Rand just needs a few point bump from his performance and it will be worth it. I think there may be enough people that liked it to give him the bump

Here was poll down by Gravis Marketing. They are the worst pollster on the planet, but you can see the results they posted.

It doesn't matter what Rand looked like because Jeb looked like a shocked monkey half the time.

And he could have brought Benghazi and Hillary up when talking arms to ISIS.
