What he does not understand is that we CAN be a "superpower" militarily, even if we bring them all home. Look at China. Are they considered vulnerable militarily? No, of course not. In fact, no one in their right mind would even DARE attack China. But they don't have military bases all over the world, do they? Of course not.

So why do we need 750 bases to protect our citizens? WE DON'T ! In fact, we are MORE vulnerable with the military stretched beyond its means....plus we will not be able to afford it and it will all come tumbling down eventually.

Just as an aside, I thought I'd really been paying a lot more for milk in the past few months or so but never bothered to investigate...saw some numbers yesterday, and milk prices are up 23% over last year!!
