Looking back at the voting records of the Republican Presidential candidates, I found something strange considering the media’s recent attacks on Ron Paul. Though Ron Paul seems to be getting a ton of flak from the mainstream media and has been called a racist by faux journalists, Newt Gingrich is the man they media should be questioning. In 1979, when Congress was voting on the establishment of Martin Luther King Day, Newt Gingrich was one of the Congressmen that voted against it. Ron Paul once exclaimed that Martin Luther King was a hero of his, so his vote in favor of the holiday was to be expected.

The CNN reporters like Gloria Borger, who likely received their journalism degrees from cereal boxes, should take a closer look at the voting records of the candidates rather than harassing them.

Not valid ammo. That resolution didn't pass. MLK day became official after another Congressional vote in 1983, and Paul voted "no" on that one.

No, MLK became a national day, but that vote was not a vote on a federal holiday.

No, this isn't true. Ron Paul votes no on all this type of stuff. No special holidays, no awards, nothing that the government should not be doing, just Dr. No.

You just know that when Dr. Paul becomes president, Congress will pass some stupid bill called the "Puppies are adorable act of 2013" and dare Paul to veto it to make him look bad.

...Yes, but in this case President Paul would have quite the stage to expose that PAAA "Puppies Are Adorable Act of 2013" actually takes our freedoms away and kills puppies.
