Gingrich Confronted. There is no way in hell Ron Paul supporters are voting for Mitt Romney

The 90% that Gingrich cited is too high, but I think Gingrich was likely talking about all Ron Paul voters in the primary, and not just those of us who actively campaigned to get him elected. Out of Ron's hardcore supporters who campaigned to get him elected, Romney will probably get about 2% of the vote. But out of all Ron Paul voters in the primary, Romney will probably get more like 75%.

Unfortunately, I think you are correct.

Paul got approximately 2 million votes in the primary. If Gingrich means 90% of those 2 million, then he is probably correct. Humorously, the more you dispute Gingrich's claim, the more you are basically saying the RP 2012 campaign did a crappy job, because their task was to capture a lot of the soft support for RP in the primaries, in addition to further building up the die-hard base.

That is “Bill”, middle initial “O.”, last name “Rights”, spelled R-I-G-H-T-S, the 1st as in the Roman numeral "I" and my date of birth is December 15, 1791. So then, now that we have gotten that out of the way, what was it that you said your name and badge number were please? Oh and before you tell me that you do not have to provide me with such details, you should already be aware that as a federal employee accountable to the public, all such details about you occupation are open to the scrutiny of the public, save for assignments pertaining to undercover work, which obviously does not apply in this instance; that including your full name, badge, GS-rank and title, complete governmental work history, pay, office assignments, duty descriptions, test results, qualifications, etc.

You know, now that I think about it, you might be rather surprised on what I can FOIA request on you and your little buddies. …So now, what was your name and badge number, and after you provide me those details, why don’t you go ahead and call your field supervisor over here, thank you, now please.

Why did you spell your name out to the goon at the end? You know he cared less about your opinions.

I think Newt's 90% claim is patently absurd but I will say that Im already coming across some of RP's soft support during the primaries that are talking about voting for Romney. I don't think the guy in the video can claim that no Paul voters will vote for Romney since that's just not true. The Paul supporters/activists won't vote for Romney, some Paul voters will, but his idea that none will vote Romney is just as absurd as Newt's 90% idea.
