I'm still surprised, after two years since this thread was posted, that that was not a widely known fact.

Been going on for decades now, especially the PBA cards.

Especially the word of mouth name dropping. (before the cards were economical to supply)

Simply descriptive of the entire concept of police: They protect their own. Period.

in case anyone moves to Washington State, you can get one of these. I was told that cops will leave you alone for traffic infractions if you have one.
