Why the hell is this in Grassroots Central? Bloody heck, this place is becoming a lobby for the site and it's just not good enough IMO. This thread has a place in the relevant section. Putting it in here buries threads about ideas for real positive activism and initiatives.

They are blockupying the European Union Central Bank.

If the bankers are socialists, why would they want them protesting their banks?

Except people from the UK, Switzerland and many countries east of the former iron curtain.

The Czech Republic for example already has a president who is a "classical liberal" with conservative values and free market economist inspired by Friedrich Hayek. So in a way they are even way ahead the US in terms of acceptance of this philosophy.

Also the baltic states had quite a few leading politicians inspired by the freedom philosophy (small state, individual liberties, free markets and so on).

I don't know anything about them but chances are that they were founded by a bunch of leftist social studies students (or - sadly - even economics students) who have no clue what the hell they are talking about. But the one thing they know for sure is that our evil, heartless, capitalist society is just a tool for the rich to become richer and to enslave the rest. And it's actually really ironic that the only reason they have time to think about this BS and attend every demonstration they fancy is because this very same society provides them with enough welfare so that they don't have to work a single day in the private sector. I really can't stand that there are so many of them. :(

If it was anti-Bank/ Anti-Rothschild would they report it as such?

Most of these seem to be anti-corruption, regardless of the rhetoric.

And most people see Corporatism and Corruption AS capitalism. They have never known free market.
 
As far as German tribes have gone, they were pretty libertarian during the classical period of the Roman empire. If someone pretended to be the king in the old Germanic tribes for too long, it was acceptable for the peasantry to murder his self righteous butt back then. As far as I know, Germanic tribes have followed such tradition all the way up to Bismark.

The two largest political parties in Germany are the Socialist Pary of Germany (SPD) and the Christian Socialist Union (CSU) which has a partnership with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Other players are the Communist Party of Germany (KPD), Greens, and the Free Democratic Party (FPD).
 
ALL of Europe is socialist,, hell it was imported here a hundred years ago..
Socialism and communism are only a half step separated,, and there has never been a communist country in existence.

The closest is a socialist dictatorship that calls itself communist,, as opposed to all the various Socialist "democracies".
Semantics.
Socialism has been spread and encouraged by the same folks that hold the Monopoly on the Money.

Follow the money.

Do you believe what the newspapers here say? They are probably just misguided with good intentions, like occupy wall street. They are average people who don't understand economics to know the true definition of each to distinguish the two, but they all agree that their standard of living is being robbed from them, so they're taking a stand for the better of the people. No matter how you label that, it's a good thing.

And if U.S. newspapers called the Ron Paul movement fascist......? That said the fact that somebody directed these people to one of the main sources of their problems is important. This is what should have happened to the occupy movement.
