Gerald Celente Predictions for 2010

Gerald Celente is back with his predicitions for 2010 and many people think that Gerald Celente from the Trends Research Institute says a lot of things that come true and that he accurately predicts what will happen.


Unfortunately Gerald Celente seems to think that 2010 is not going to be the year for America either.

He predicts another attack like the magnitue of 9/11 because other countries don't like the United States foreign policy. He says that people who live in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan will want to get revenge against America for what they have done to their countries.

He also predicts that Israel may attack Iran to take out their nuclear facilities, and the U.S exerting more sanctions against Iran.

Gerald Celente says this could be the beginning of World War III. He says no one can wipe out Iran, if they think they can they better read up on their persian history and realize that they have been around a long time and they are not going anywhere.

Gerald also talks about what he calls 'The Crash of 2010' where the Stimulus money will run out and interest rates cannot be lowered any more. Gerald says you need a productive capacity and not just print more money.

Celente says that there will also be an elegance trend, where quality is going to reign supreme, whether that means in the way you dress or in the style of entertainment, people are going to take more pride in the way they look and act, and bigger won't necessarily be better.

Another trend he discusses he calls 'not welcome here', which means that due to the exploding population there is now not enough jobs and not enough resources to go around, and so countries will start kicking out illegal immigrants when jobs become scarce and countries can't handle everyone who lives there.

'Shape Up America' is another trend Gerald speaks of, which is where he thinks everyone is going to get healthier, slim down and tie in to the elegance trend he mentioned earlier.

Didn't Celente predict "The Collapse of 09" and even register a website with that name? Well that didn't seem to happen.

His predictions for 2009 were pretty good, though the govt has done a better job at kicking the can down the road than he anticipated.

1.) Collapse Of 2009. Continued bailouts and actions to maintain status quo.

Government attempts at all levels to increase taxes, fees to replace lost revenue and cost of bailouts to maintain government operating as normal.
Taxpayers will resist--rise of anti-tax, anti-government movements and will flourish.
Tax revolt kits on how to get referendums to voters will become available.
2.) The Greatest Depression. A combination of factors will lead to this being the decline and fall of the American Empire.

Serious questions about safety of banks and your money.
Sales of Safes and Guns are rising dramatically.
Increases in crime as economy deteriorates.
3.) The Second American Revolution...no longer not a question of if...but when and how will unfold.

Combination of factors and actions by government (bailouts, special interests) leading to concentration of power.
Question is what will be the spark(s).
This is and will be unprecedented in American History.
4.) Obama-rama.

Election of Obama marketed and sold to world and people as ushering a new political era.
Obama success will be more sleight of hand and deception than integrity and determination of honoring principles.
Example: Obama cabinet is largely a retread of Clinton's team.
No evidence Obama can ameliorate or arrest points 1 through 3 above.
5.) Economic Slimfast.

Americans will go on debt, spending and fitness diet.
Return of frugality in daily lives (individual and use of groups)...just beginning...will accelerate conditions worsen.
6.) Bush Gardens

Increase in gardening and ways to become self sufficient.
Local efforts to reduce local living costs.
7.) Whole Health Healing...to replace costly and inefficient health care.

8.) Little People Squeeze.

Politicians and Government to maintain status quo as revenues fall find ways to get money from public.
Government think of everything (Sales and Sin Taxes, Fees, Registration, etc.) get money.
Historically, all governments failwhen taxes become burdonsome to average person.
9.) Regenerative Medicine - Biotechnology, stem cell research.

10.) Entertainment Rebirth (That's Entertainment). Cheap new forms of entertainment.

11.) College Crash...costs too prohibitive with not enough return on investment. Rise of on-line, virtual education.

Gerald Celente........LMAO!...........I love the guy but come on. Anyone who follows the current behind the scenes state of our economy, the FED, fiat banking, and our foreign policy can make the same predictions he's making. I'd like to see a lot more in depth details and background info from him personally. He sounds like another Denninger.
